Pirlo for free?

I read somewhere that Xavi made 76 passes in the Spain game last night. Guess how many were successfully executed? Yes, you've guessed it...76. He is the type of man we need.

keep dreaming bro.

pirlo on the other hand is very realistic, could still fit in our midfield, especially of vieira goes.

dont want him if he tries to shake us down for a 3 year contract of 100.000 quid a week or something as silly as that though.

According to AntMCFC and a few of those who were agreeing the other day, Pirlo is an attacking midfielder and shit.

Either way, if he's up for grabs, we will absolutely go in for him. He's the final piece of the Mancini jigsaw and will replace De Jong.

Excellent deep lying play maker, similar to Xabi Alonso. Great passing ability, very creative and does a job in front of the back four making him quite versatile for a few positions in midfield, would make sense for Mancini to sign him, especially on a free.

And Damocles he wouldn't replace de Jong he would partner him, replacing NdJ with a player like Pirlo would be ridiculous as it would lead to conceding more goals and being more open in midfield due to the fact Pirlo's is a much more attack minded player.

My favourite non city player ever and given all that he's acheived in the game someone who really should get more praise than he does. I could watch him play football all day, he makes it look so easy.

I remember seeing him in a pre-season friendly for Inter against Parma when he'd just signed for them. He played in a more advanced role back then and he was the best player on the pitch by a mile. He had wondeful balance when dribbling with the ball (something that he doesn't need to display in his Milan role).

Top player.

Ah, someone who actually knows what Pirlo is.

He hasn't got much pace but you'd sign him for his passing ability. I'd have him in the squad.

This word for word, he is exactly the kind of player we should be looking for he started as a number 10 type player but his passing ability is exactly what we should be looking for.
