Pitch invasion

Stayed in the stand personally celebrating with the City family (approx 20 of us) in the family stand who have been TOGETHER for the last few glorious years. Couldn't go on the pitch anyway as my last pitch invasion was FA Cup quarter final defeat after Phelan's goal Spurs at Maine Road circa 1990 and im still on interpols most wanted as i was plastered on the front page of the MEN..Oh how times have changed.

I admit to going on ... After chair diving and ripping my jeans to then see the stewards just letting fans on :p i then got lost among people and panicked !!! All good fun though ;)

I stayed in my seat and heckled the cunts that went on the pitch, if i wasn't on level 2 i would have gone on the pitch so booing was the only way i could take part....down with this sort of thing, careful now!

The pitch invasion was ace.It was great to run around letting out tension and celebrating with fellow Blues it sure did the job.It was always tradition to go onto the pitch after the last home game of the season anyway only in those days we won bugger all except the odd promotion.

The police now turning killjoy and reminding people it is a criminal offence to go onto the pitch need to get over themselves.Nobody was hurt in the making of this production as they say,it was a celebration,a release of emotion and tension,go and nick some real scumbags for God's sake!

My only gripe was that some people just overstay their welcome.Go onto the pitch, celebrate then get off so the trophy can be presented. Also the dick trying to break the goalposts at the south stand needs to give his head a wobble too!

Oh yes there were people hurt in 'the making of this production' I am still limping because of the moron who jumped onto my ankle, although I can understand why people did go on the pitch please remember that pushing other people, who didn't go on the pitch, over the walls and standing on their ankles is HURTING people and INJURING people!! I wasn't the only one hurt, two or three people around me were as well. None of us condemned the people going onto the pitch just the selfish nature of the way they did it. Use the aisles. don't push people over the walls or climb over them whilst they are standing applauding, that's all we ask.

Ok I will amend that.......just a few people were injured in this production out of almost forty eight thousand. Not saying it should happen but people push and shove in crowds all the time so it could have happened going home after a normal game

Sorry but that is not an excuse. Now and again people have to take responsibility for their actions. I know it is an alien context to some but there we go.

Well I walked down the aisle in an orderly fashion and hurt nobody nor did I see anybody hurt all day. Wait a minute....did you say you were STANDING?? You do know that controvenes ground safety rules and is a danger to others don't you?

Yes I am nitpicking and being an ass but I think you were a tad when you chose to pick up on my nobody was hurt bit. The point i was making is it was a good natured pitch invasion not a malicious one.

I know you are a long standing blue but come on it is a football game not the theatre though I know some are trying to turn it into one and the same!
