Pitch invasions

Apart from the pitch invasion, I saw a quick trophy presentstion, which wasn't dragged out like last season, and more importantly I saw a togetherness between the players and the fans, where the players came over to the fans, celebrated with the fans, on their own, in pairs and in groups. It felt like the players really appreciated the support and backing they've had off the fans this season. That togetherness was more important to me than the pitch invasion. Haaland absolutely loved it.
well said jrb
the whole day was brilliant.
let the fans enjoy how they like, if you dont want to go on the pitch dont do.
as for the ones on here commenting saying "are you going to pay the fine"... shut up !

Honestly the only way to stop them if you wanted to is to put a 15 point deduction punishment for failing to control the crowd.

fans then have a responsibility to the team and fellow fan to not ruin it for others
Even then some would do it still

That means we’d only win the league with a game to spare so unfair that scenario

You wouldn't run on stage at the end of a show in the theatre and stroll around pretending you were Richard bloody Burton, or get up on stage at the end of a concert and prance about like Mick Jagger? Or would you? How about attending a wedding and doing a knee slide down the aisle after the bride & groom have left the church? Or go to a christening and take a selfie as you dunk your head in the font afterwards? It's utterly crass, naff, embarrassing, don't do it.
Years ago at Anfield (sorry) when l'pool (sorry again) won the league a few idiots ran on at the final whistle and with one voice the Kop started up with "Get off the f*ckin' pitch!" And they did. Apologies for bringing them into it but they were right.

1. No idea why we have stewards they are uterley useless for the main task of stopping pitch invasions. They are only good for showing you to your seat. 2. What was achieved by the invasion ? 30 minutes standing on the pitch and then back to your seat - sorry I really dont get it. 3. For me the answer is catch a number of them, fine them heavily and maybe just maybe it will make ppl think next time. 4. Little kids on with their parents - pathetic example set for the future. 5. My idea other than fines is getting Pep to announce on a tannoy not to invade the pitch - maybe that would have an impact? Tarnished an otherwise perfect day.
Can I also add they are useless when pointing out opposition fans in the home areas, or stopping Vaping in the seats, dope smoking in the round stairwells, or pretty much anything that you'd hope a steward would do.

Hope we never have any emergency situation at the Etihad as they would be first out to leave us to it.
