How do these fuckers stay in business? Got a Pizza Hut leaflet through the door and for a medium Supreme (pepperoni, spicy beef, jalapenos, etc) they want £14.49. Fourteen and a half quid! My local kebab/pizza place do the same thing for £5.50. Even if I went for a 12" pizza at the local one, it would still only set me back £7.50.

Do you get a free trip to Italy thrown in at Pizza Hut?

Dominos in particular are a complete rip off and rely on the chain store effect, a la McDonald's, wetherspoons etc. They make money because they are a big chain with flashy advverts so they must be more trustworthy than your independent kebab shop down the road, right?

Dominos did a deal during the world cup where it was twenty five quid for two pizzas and two lots of wedges. That's mad in itself but when they were caught sending staff to aldi for 99p bags of wedges you realise that they are taking the absolute piss.

Don't they always do 2 for one deals?
They do but even though I'm a greedy bastard I couldn't eat and don't want to pay for two, when I only want one.

My point exactly on the BOGOF thread instead of 2 for 1 we want 1 at half price
