Pizza Hut/Dominos

How do these fuckers stay in business? Got a Pizza Hut leaflet through the door and for a medium Supreme (pepperoni, spicy beef, jalapenos, etc) they want £14.49. Fourteen and a half quid! My local kebab/pizza place do the same thing for £5.50. Even if I went for a 12" pizza at the local one, it would still only set me back £7.50.

Do you get a free trip to Italy thrown in at Pizza Hut?
Large franchised outlets, massive advertising, same standards across the board, household name and people will pay for that.

£14.49 for glorified cheese on toast?
Funny thing about pizza is the first slice is (usually) glorious and delicious and all the rest of it but the novelty doesn't take very long to wear off at all. By the time you're hauling the last slice off the cardboard and up to your gob, it's suddenly a chore to finish the thing. Then you've got the guilt trip to Bloatedsville to keep you warm for the rest of the evening.

Far healthier, cheaper and every bit as tasty to pop two slices of wholemeal bread into the toaster. Scramble a couple or three eggs together, add some thinly sliced chorizo/ quickly fried lardons/cherry tomatoes (halved)/ whatever you're having yourself and nuke the mixture in the microwave (stirring every 50 seconds or so - three eggs in my oven (900w) take about two and a half minutes).
Your arteries will thank you. Your children will think you're a boring old fart.

I can't believe you're mentioning the two in the same breath. Pizza Hut is expensive but at least its fairly decent for a pizza place.
Dominos is fucking rank. I think they make the bases out of Hubba Bubba they're so fucking chewy.

If you find that you get a duff pizza or a crap lasagne give Brendan Rodgers a ring, he buys shit Italians.

I have dominoes and a pizza hut within walking distance of my house. never been to either one of them, and wouldn't smear my cock on their windows if they begged me. Pizza Nova is the way to go if you'r ever over here.
