Ric unfortunately I was posting before your post in that I don’t don’t do Twitter Facebook etc I’m here on bluemoon for a reason it’s totally independent from the bull shit media what some or most us gladly avoid . Yes I get it’s nice for a change in a slight angle the media are reporting on . I personally don’t give a flying one what the media think of us the ships sailed and the anti City tweets or whatever people post or paste . Very early on in this thread, somebody posted that the only PL club currently under finiancial investigation is United. Where is this in the piblic domain and what's the difference between City getting hauled over the coals and their issue?

So, what do you think will happen when we do have the charges thrown out?
Surely City have to persue some kind of payout for the damage to our reputation... do you think we'd have grounds to take action against some media outlets/journos too?
Also, like you said - the fees for the PLs lawyers will have to be paid, and has been for 4yrs... where is that money coming from?

If City get a big win against the serious charges, make no mistake, the executive team will breathe the world biggest sigh of relief and reappear 9 months later from a Cubana and Cliquot haze to get back to business.

1. The list of potential issues for united is vastly longer than City, as (if we are a guide) the rap sheet can go all the way back to 1992.
2. The potential issues are likely to be based on facts rather than fiction.
3. You would think it wasn’t just financial issues they need to cover.
4. It’s united, so negative press reporting is of a very limited and (club condoned) targeted ilk
5. It’s united, so the investigation will be stymied in committee until the PL collapses
