I do think our softly softly approach hasn’t helped us make many friends, and even emboldened Uefa, the PL, Pigmol, the media & our rivals. Maybe Gary Cook set the tone all wrong but there’s been a totally different approach since, which only encouraged the pile on. Not many clubs go against Uefa & win (unless you have insider influence) and where we to take down the PL then the whole pyramid is in trouble. This is why an early deal looks likely, we’ve seen back tracking in the press already, rival managers are silent, so let’s see how we are referee’d in the next few weeks
I'm not sure they can back down now unless they see the evidence, think fuck there's nothing we can prove there and shit it. They may then issue a statement saying, in view of the evidence received the premier league will not be pursuing the case, adding if they'd received this evidence earlier it wouldn't have proceeded this far.
