PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Sad to hear he'd died, fairly young too; Georgie M was one of the better ones imo. Can't imagine him ever being violent - unlike a certain Latin master who iirc had a penchant for chucking wooden board rubbers at boys' heads...a strange place, all told.

New leadership at the EPL - I wonder if the change at the top enabled these charges to proceed after 4 years. I foresee another change of leadership coming (along with a regulator) and this case being withdrawn.

I always felt the club would have been better served by putting out a robust response to the media’s distorted slant on the CAS result.

You're looking at it narrowly here. The PL have probably asked for all financial records and been provided with them. They might have also asked for every email sent over a 4-year period - do you think that's a reasonable ask?

So basically UEFA put the time barred in, to make it look like we cheated. But couldn't do anything about it.

I am more interested in anything new the PL has: image rights maybe? IP sales and share services? Maybe some transactions and accounting treatments that need explaining but I am sure management can do that.

I doubt the CAS stuff will be litigated any differently, and the time barred stuff, I don't think, is a concern.
 
The whole integrity of our club has been questioned.

Like Pep said yesterday, what if we are innocent of the charges levied against us ?

Who will be held responsible?

The PL?, the PL clubs?, the PL CEO's who were are pretty sure are the drivers behind all this?

Whoever it is, we need to ensure that they feel the full force off our legal team.

We've spent years trying to work with these ****'s, falling into line, not rocking the boat and trying to fit in.

However, it's not been good enough for the entitlement, these twats have overstepped the mark bigtime and are trying to wipe us of the map.

Pep summed it up for us all, we have already been hung, drawn and quartered..

I have a feeling that we have accumulated reams of shit on all of these jealous twats and again, like Pep alluded to, it might not only be us that have been accused of shit, many others should be watching over their shoulders with just a tad of nervousness.

The exposure we have given the PL over the years, the football we play, the Aguero goal, we've made untold millions for fkin SKY and they are now trying to fcuk us off..

Well you greedy twats, it's our time now to give you shit back in spades.

City look like they mean business too..
