I see the fat twat from Spain, Tebas, has been sticking his nose into our affairs again. Saying that it is taking too long stating that we all know they are guilty of over a 100 charges. He doesn't want to hear our side, he admitted that, he wants us banned now. What a nasty piece of work he his.

Whilst I accept he’s certainly been gunning for City I actually think his target here is the PL. He’s calling them out on taking so long and questioning their credibility as that will ‘affect future deals and sponsorship’. He’s desperate to position La Ligue as the predominant European league, as it was when Madrid were spending all the cash and, if City are collateral damage he’d be delighted but he’s after the PL, no doubt.
Thing is, he’s got a point as well. IF City were proven to have ‘cheated’ their way to 6 titles, PL loses credibility. If City are proven innocent of all charges, the PL loses credibility. Tebas is ensuring that message is front and centre.
All that notwithstanding, he’s undoubtedly a c**t……

If we do get the charges dropped then people will say we paid the PL off.. If we do have irrefutable evidence that clears us of these charges then surely we have to go to court and finish this once and for all

Problem with that is the ongoing narrative tossed around by the likes of Tariq Panja, Nick Harris and Miguel Delaney is that we were found guilty in CAS. Despite the fact that it was noncooperation, for what we thought (and not unreasonably) was a kangaroo court. Something similar by the PL will give those eejits a fig leaf of credibility to spout nonsense about tainted titles and the like.

I find it incredible that the bloated fascist Tebas is invited to the FT football event and allowed spout pure invective about us. The home of the Premier League are happy to allow a far right nutball, who has allowed his own league to degenerate into chaos, is given free press to denigrate the current English champions. It beggars belief but the English sporting press never cease to amaze for all the wrong reasons.

The worst thing about Tebas is that he is given a platform in the English media, including the BBC, with absolutely no challenge and no context reported. Just think about that for a second. A man who is still under investigation for corruption and has recently re-asserted his support for a far right political group which wants to forcibly repatriate Muslim immigrants from Spain is allowed to make false and libellous comments about the PL Champions without being called out or challenged. The English media which is apparently so concerned about workers rights in the Middle East is happy to give a voice to a fascist.

I'm starting to believe the Premier League wanted the whole thing to go away and have washed their hands of it, certainly in terms of getting particular clubs off their backs.

If we end up getting hit by non-cooperation charges only then I hope we get a decent PR company involved because, even though that's what happened at CAS, 99% of the public still think we were found guilty.
