It does make me wonder how much Vicky believed what she was saying or whether she was simply trying to discourage us from doing the banner. One of the ideas was to have Merson on it, pissed up with a can of beer in his hand. Vicky didn’t seem keen on that idea, particularly as she told us that she had the likes of Stelling in her mobile phone contacts and if any of the Soccer Saturday lot spouted any bullshit about us - ie: like their ludicrous pontificating about the fee we paid for KDB - she had that line of communication into them whenever their comments bit them on the arse.
It was clear though that she had a decent relationship with Stelling, and probably by extension the rest of the Soccer Saturday mob, so maybe she didn’t want us digging Merson and co out in that way.

You need to lighten up sunshine. I'm fully aware of the implications of putting certain ideas into print on banners, and no I wouldn't expect anyone at the club to be particularly in favour of something of that nature. It’s an interesting take and certainly not beyond the realms of possibility. It might be a tad wishful thinking. Why would City want to help an organisation that is complicit in destroying the club? I know with Uefa we tried to stay cosy with Ceferin during and after the CAS hearing. The red shits handpicked masters so doubt he is only interested in doing their bidding.
The whole thing just needs to go away. Don’t care how we manage to do that. Either way I believe the club has did what it had to do to circumvent ffp to stay competitive. Khaldoon is clear that we have not broken any rules and provided the evidence needed to stop the charges from happening which seemly fell on deaf ears.
