PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

He looked like someone with a dose of the shits that was stuck out on the pitch when he could feel the next bout coming on.

I would like to think that is because he heard some 'hard truths' - I tend to think that it was more him thinking about how to best serve his real employers
100% he looked like he would rather be anywhere else , the look of disgust handing the medals said so much, what a top hat.
And the way this guy blanked him was superb

Interesting that Richard Masters, PL CEx, was at the Etihad on Sunday to present the trophy and medals to City as 2022/23 Champions.

Hard to believe that words were not exchanged between him and the City hierarchy over the FFP charges especially in the absence of representatives of teams in red or those others pushing for sanctions against City.

Richard Masters had nowhere to hide and will have been exposed. He may have been told some home truths that left him looking unhappy and leading to Peps statement about wanting the PL to bring a quick conclusion to the charges.

I was disappointed he only got a murmered booing. Don't think enough people knew who he was as it the noise should have rained down on him.

I’d say Masters knows he’s on borrowed time. The wheels are coming off, pressure to resolve the charges is piling on and the PL clearly haven’t any compelling evidence and City seemingly not providing anything else.
And if results are as expected this coming weekend he will face a world of shit from Leeds and Leicester, also rumoured Burnley have a score settle over last seasons relegation.

I had avoided it tbh but just watched it and it is ok. One thing it doesnt do is bring into question other clubs who also failed ffp, the dippers in 2014, Wolves in 2021, QPR and Leicester bother failed the EFL version. Just for context it would be nice to see some shit thrown about at the others.

now that City have questioned the legality of the EPL process I do wonder how long this will last. Does anyone know where we are up to ? Does the process stop until the
legal challenge is completed?
That’s a good point about not mentioning the others. How the law applies in this situation I am not sure, the premier league is a club which makes its own rules. I guess if we are unhappy with the outcome we can go back to CAS? However I am sure I heard somewhere that we can’t go to CAS?

We can’t go to CAS our ‘club’ rules don’t allow it.
