PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Him and previously Parry have held some UEFA positions that I think are worthy of comment. This is not to imply there is any malice involved from either party. The press are happy to report on shadowy figures handing over bags of cash but that there is no comment on the shadowy figures sat next to Ferguson at the FA Cup Final or previously running Liverpool feels a little shortsighted. Throw in the letters to CAS, the bad day for football comments etc and there is enough circumstantial evidence to suggest that the clear and organised agenda is real.

United's head of media Phil Townsend went to work for UEFA as head of Comms - we know all the people who were briefing against us.

Sorry to say it really does look like we are guilty,
Just happened to hear the world renowned footballing intellectual Shebahn Aherne (no me neither?) on Talkshite radio this morning saying "Regarding Man Citys charges, its obvious there can be no smoke without fire"
Case closed I think, take the points and the titles away, and relegate us now & as a club we are very, very sorry.
She’s a Rag, absolutely fucking clueless.

But abled and abetted by the lobbying, skullduggery and conniving of Parasite Parry a Gimp Gill from our ooop North rivals.
I totally agree with you. I just get the feeling that those two jumped up London clubs are the real ones who have had their noses put out of joint more than the red shirts up here have. at the time of our takeover it was united, Liverpool and Chelsea who vied for three of the 4 CL spots on a regular basis, with Arsenal and Spurs scrapping hopefully of making the 4th spot.
Big bad City came along and firmly upset the apple cart and barged our way in to the front of the queue. None of them believed we would establish ourselves back then and become what we are today.
Pep has really fucked them over big time, before he arrived we were a bit hit and miss-win the title one season, then not the next, in fact we went 4 seasons after the Pellegrini title until winning it again under Pep. the real damage has been done under Pep-they still stood a realistic chance of getting CL football or PL titles and all the money and goodies that go with it before he arrived.
The scousers have an inferiority complex, united are united, its Arsenal who I fucking despise the most with spurs extremely close behind them, two clubs who have been royally fucked by City.
Its been ramped up tenfold since Pep has really established us at the very top of the table.

When the likes of PB and Projectriver don’t seem overly confident in us getting off then I think we should be worried - neither of them have given us any confidence that things will go our way , right now I’d take fine, and that feels like a win right now.
Where have I indicated that I don't think things will go our way? You can never be 100% confident in any court or tribunal of course (as @projectriver knows only too well after his own recent legal travails) but I've always maintained that these charges are paper-thin at best, and completely specious at worst.

He's a racist prick. Absolutely disgraceful how he used to report on Raheem until he was eventually called out on it.

Lawton is simply trying to polish a turd that he and his ilk don't want to flush.
I rate some of the people at the Times like Ziegler who is generally reliable despite being fed some pups about City. Lawton comes across as clueless on TV. Then again Tony Evans had a good job at the Times so there must be something strange going on with their recruitment. This latest story makes the paper look stupid. Can’t believe it wasn’t pulled. They are being played.

I’ve loaned a mate £4K from my pension pot, it’ll be paid back shortly when his second house project is sold, there is no difference, these things happen all the time.

Cheers, and yes I get all that. I don't think the disguised owner funding will fly on this particular charge though as from what I can see, City have been clear that it was put up by our owner and it was then later paid back by Etisalat
Not really disguised if it is in the accounts and City have a plausible explanation. Wonder why Lawton omitted this from his story. It’s all in the CAS documents. Just the usual distortion with no balance.

According to the CAS award, the contract was renewed in principle for a higher amount and the parties were working under an MOU until the contract was completed. Not sure why it took so long but I imagine Etisalat couldn't approve payment while there was no definitive contract. The MOU prevails though, and the services were provided and therefore income was earned. The receivable from Etisalat was valid under the MOU, and was paid in full (some time) after the contract was signed.

I am guessing the club needed the money from Etisalat to meet its payments, but as Etisalat couldn't pay under an MOU, ADUG advanced the money.
what is a MOU
