PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Neil Ashton is my guess for the "leak."

If we have fucked them out of signing Rice it's the kind of revenge tactic I'd expect from that shower of cunts.
Who produced the YouTube video and how old is it? It is a smear because there is no new information in it so it has been recycled to keep City in the news. Are people just going to recycle court documents from CAS for the next few years and pretend they are new. The Times has damaged its own reputation. How could they run a piece based on an anonymous video with 38 subscribers? Pathetic.

The words “gill” and “david”spring to mind.
Him and previously Parry have held some UEFA positions that I think are worthy of comment. This is not to imply there is any malice involved from either party. The press are happy to report on shadowy figures handing over bags of cash but that there is no comment on the shadowy figures sat next to Ferguson at the FA Cup Final or previously running Liverpool feels a little shortsighted. Throw in the letters to CAS, the bad day for football comments etc and there is enough circumstantial evidence to suggest that the clear and organised agenda is real.

Just saw the David Dein clip. Ha ha - fair play to him. I don’t think Morgan was expecting that - probably thought a fellow Gooner would go all in on us!
You forget: Dein fell out with Arsenal some years ago when they forcibly removed him from the board. I cannot imagine he is well disposed to them now.

If you think back to 2012/13 City still thought they could pass FFP, just, because of the leeway offered by wages of players signed before its introduction being discounted. But it was only just, every penny was crucial at that time. It was suggested that Mancini’s pay off might derail it. So the £30 million advance payment against the Etisalat sponsorship was definitely necessary even if it broke no rules. Of course in the end it was futile, we’d already been deemed to fail on the 2011/12 accounts and had to accept the slap on the wrist. Trying to revive this now and suggest further penalties are appropriate all seems a bit desperate

The advance payment wasn't required to meet FFP. Cash is a balance sheet item. The timing of the payment from Etisalat had no bearing on the amount included in income, as long as the income was earned from a valid contract, for which services were performed and which, eventually, payment was made. Afaik, no one is disputing any of that.

When Liverpool account for £50m bring spent on their Stanley Park feasibility study or some such nonsense. Why doesn't anyone investigate that?
We all know the answer to that question don't we, or united being registered in the Cayman Islands to avoid paying certain elements of tax, or the mail article published a while ago about them having discrepancies with HMRC.
It wouldn't surprise me at all if this is the reason why the united takeover is dragging on and on and on.
But of course, it never gets any column inches does it. I've said this before, the real snakes in all of this reside in the capital, united and Liverpool are what they are, whether we like it or not its those clubs that are the real two biggest clubs in the country historically , both in terms or trophy's and attendances, City have just made it three with a level of sustained success over a decade or more, its the London clubs who cant handle what we have become, probably the reason why Pep called out Levy in particular in his interview, and we have all seen the letter that Arsenal produced about us.
this starts and stops in London.
Cunts.

I thought the contract hadn’t been renewed at that point so an actual cash injection might have been necessary to show up as income? But I’m not an accountant so may well be talking bollocks

But abled and abetted by the lobbying, skullduggery and conniving of Parasite Parry a Gimp Gill from our ooop North rivals.

I've not heard of anything regarding Leeds at home but a Forest fan sparked out an elderly City fan outside the turnstiles ahead of our game against them. By all accounts it was a despicable attack and there was a thread on here about it

May have happened but doubt it's to do with PL investigation
