We are already on a par with Barcelona as the greatest football team ever. Barcelona only got that title after they embarrassed utd in the 2011 Champions League final.
It was the only way utd and the media could handle It. If you get totally and utterly crushed saying that the team that did it to you were the best ever gives you an excuse for said embarrassment.
Now the rhetoric is that City are a good team but not as good as Pep's Barcelona because they already have that title. And obviously 115 gets mentioned at every possible opportunity.

Met a group of Port Vale fans in the pub in town after a City match. Their game at Salford had been called off so they'd been on the piss all day. Sound set of fans. Reminded me of us way back when. They will spout the absolute nonsense that they are about ‘double wages for all’, ‘cash payments’, ‘state supplied money’, ‘phantom sponsors’ etc etc… all the while rounding off with ‘its obvious that City cheated and are financially doping’

…despite the fact that the level of collusion to fuel their fantasy would be extremely improbable and unprecedented and the level of omertà (due to a complete lack of any compelling evidence coming to light) would be enough to cover every fantasy conspiracy theory of the last century.

Mind you, what hope was there of them understanding the 115, when they have no clue on the CAS rulings demolition of the UEFA charges… ‘city chose 2 out of 3’, ‘time barred’, ‘still fined, so you were guilty’, ‘city bought CAS’, ‘non cooperating shows you were guilty’… the list of bollox I’ve heard and read about the complete exhonorating of City by CAS.

That press conference was up there with any of the performances on the pitch, he was magnificent.

Odd how the press/media will attack the banks and oil companies from profiteering but ignore football profiteering.

I'd be happier if Khaldoon called out this and the rest of the bollocks in public.

A thought occurs to me. We had some traitors in our staff who were being paid by the dippers for confidential info. What if they planted some false documents?

I don't think that's something we would have dealt with behind the scenes and out of the public eye TBH. We would have finally seen a real courtroom saga that many have been calling for.
