PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Not necessarily, you still have to go though due process before punishment.

What due process is that?

We are accused of breaking the FFP in house rules of the Premier League, and as the League has its own investigative set up to deal with such things, they spent four years investigating City and what was their verdict?

The PL is charging City and we're setting up an "independent" something or other to investigate...Errrr?.. Again.

As soon as the Premier League did that, due process went out the window, that's why City is questioning the legitimacy of this kangaroo court and the suitability of a Gooner Witch Finder General to head it.

This ain't due process, it's make it up as you go along.

Who have the PL sanctioned previously?
To be fair it is hard to find any major FFP cases like City. They have also referred Everton to a panel. UEFA routinely issue sanctions for FFP but the PL seems reluctant to act. It is a bit different fining a manager or player for bad behaviour compared to destroying a club!
But there is a problem coming because United and Chelsea are skating on thin ice financially. The PL could find itself managing huge investigtions into multiple clubs and they simply don't have the resources to maintain this. They have set a dangerous precedent by unfairly targeting City for political reasons.

Agree 100 per cent. The PL would have just sanctioned us if they had any evidence. They have tried to kick it down the road but Masters is so stupid he thinks there will be no repurcussions for defaming City over such a prolonged period to keep his bosses happy. His laughable performance in front of the Commons Select Committee told you everything about his capabilities. He is out of his depth.
I`d love to put him in his depth ... six feet under.

To be honest the PL should be investigating all clubs as deeply as us. Like you I do t see how the PL can afford it. If it's just City getting this treatment its clearly a witchhunt

Not if means stopping MCFC in their tracks it doesn't.

This whole facade is nothing more a smear campaign to discredit the business acumen of our ownership.

The way MCFC is run makes the likes of the rags and other red top Premier League clubs look like amateurs.

The seriousness of the allegations is beside the point, you need proof, whether you're accused of stealing a Mars Bar or murder, and it is self evident that after four years of "investigation" the Premier League don't have the proof.

And how do I know this?

Because if they did have the proof, we wouldn't be talking about kangaroo courts, we'd be talking about punishment.
We know what’s going on,they know what’s going on,and they know that we know what’s going on.
Clear and organised..
