Like Prince Andrew handing over thousands if pounds to a woman he insists he ‘never met’…Exactly, if they believed there was no wrongdoing on their part, why pay a settlement? They were guilty as hell.

because we were as culpable in the breach, letting an employee leave and allowing them to retain access to our information. Both parties were in the wrong, so they came to an agreement.Exactly, if they believed there was no wrongdoing on their part, why pay a settlement? They were guilty as hell.

No were not equally wrong at all.because we were as culpable in the breach, letting an employee leave and allowing them to retain access to our information. Both parties were in the wrong, so they came to an agreement.
I bet if it was now, we wouldn't accept an agreement like we did.I know this would be seen as cutting our nose off to spite our face but in this instance wouldn't it have been worthwhile? Sure, we'd have been in trouble for data protection reasons but nothing compared to the other side who are actively hacking into another clubs database. That's downright cheating and we could and should have made much more of a furore of it all. As we're seeing with the charges, throwing mud is enough to stick. Calling the scousers out for the cheats that they are through our own trusted media sources would have influenced public opinion and shown we can fight fire with fire.
Of course these thoughts are tempered by the fact we have some of the smartest brains in the world running our football club, basically the opposite of me, but doesn't that thought process hold some logic?

we wouldnt of took a pinch eitherI bet if it was now, we wouldn't accept an agreement like we did.
