That approach was rejected by the IC. And neither the City case nor the Chelsea off book case is a P&S case. It has a P&S issue (in City's case) but it is a consequence of the main allegations.

I saw you’d said they rejected that as a punishment, however, they have coincidentally given the exact same punishment.

What would Stefan say if the PL argued that contractually the member clubs had waive limitation as a defence by signing up to the PL rules which specifically excluded time
barring? Would that stick for the PL and against us?

We would have to be aware of that when signing. You can't just amend a contract after it's been signed

If the PL start to allow clubs to sue Everton for lost income, PL table position, relegation etc it will turn into a massive shit show. Where do they draw the line on penalties? Everton could feasibly go under from constant litigation and counter claims, potential lost sponsorships etc etc

That is a good question and doesn’t Der Spiegel claim that City wired the money for the Al Jaz salary to ADUG Who would send it to Al Jaz? That would make absolutely no sense and would surely have been pounced on by BDO.

The first payments were paid from a MCFC account "MCFC Stadium Oper..." to "Roberto Mancini Sparklegrow" via an Italian bank. See pDF pages 19 and 22.

I presume he wanted the money that way (it was supposed to be offshore) to suit his personal tax purposes and City obliged. Ultimately though City covered his personal tax on the payments.

All immaterial though in the big scheme of things because of the relatively small amounts involved and/or it getting time-barred.

As an aside, if you are interested, just google "Der Spiegel Manchester City 2022" for links to all the other stuff. The Premier League will have all the documents they dropped and there are loads of them.
