PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

We need to deal with this quickly otherwise they'll be some long term ramifications.

We'll struggle to hold on to our current sponsors and no company will be wanting to negotiate with us either presently or the in future. They may use this to cease current contracts. Business hates tarnished reputations

Our global and local fanbase may dwindle. Those impressionable you fans will hesitate to choose City as their team. Those fickle US or Asian fans (not that I give a fuck but it is revenue for the club) may quickly disassociate themselves from us. Rags, Newcastle, Dippers and the Goons will all benefit.

May affect future signings and parents of young players contemplating which premier league team they sign up for.

If we do ending up winning and are proven innocent the club needs to go full on in the world media to vent their anger, prove their innocence and threaten any liable headlines, comments with lawsuits.
If we loose some tourists it's not all bad

Of course it's corrupt. Just look at VAR, for example. VAR has been implemented (deliberately IMO) in the best possible way to support match-fixing. Were they truly interested in fairer decisions, it would not all be behind closed doors and free of scrutiny. That's just one example.

Going back a few years you had things like David Gill sitting on the board of the FA, whilst still an active board member of Manchester United Football Club Ltd. A disgraceful conflict of interest that should never have been allowed, and yet so deep is the corruption, it was never even questioned.

I could go on and on. The whole sport is riddled with corruption from top to bottom.

Been so since professional football began mate. The only difference is the ever increasing number of zeroes after the first figure.

That's why people who invest in football clubs nowadays tend to have very little real interest in the game. Including our very own Sheikh Mansour.

Football clubs are an investment vehicle for billionaires.

Mate I don’t have a clue. My heart says we have done nothing wrong but my head is conflicted as there just seem to be so much smoke this time.
I love City and I’m hurting badly today.
The statement from the club was a good start but this is going to go on for years and after the fucking UEFA case I’m just so tired of all this shit. Think I may need a break from the forum as I’m not in a good place and I’m just feeling worse.
Hang in there mate, we’ll come up smelling of roses in the end…again. Give it a few days this will be old news and we’ll be sparring the rounds with them all. UEFA seemed at arms length whereas the EPL is a home association, the danger was not realising the red tops have more power within EPL.

I meant revenues. 50 of the charges relate to accuracy of financial reports. 25 relate to profit and sustainablity.

Profit and sustainability is just the term for PL FFP, and one of the terms is disclosing all remuneration paid to staff including bonuses.

So Mancini's Al Jazira seminar bonus would break that if it could be proven to be a form of City paying him.

'May 2022: Guardiola - I'd walk away if the club lied to me'

Here we go.

You tell me this isn't a joint effort from sky, the fa, the premier league and the cunts in the uk media to try and derail us?

We've had a tough few weeks on the pitch. The two red gobshite clubs get pampered to fuck if they have a wobble, the negative stories never appear.

Look at this. An absolute pile on.

I really hope we go to town on these pricks, i know we won't but i'd happily take a huge fine and anything else if there we put shit out there about everyone against us.
They don’t know Pep do they….they’re assuming we’re guilty and trying to hold him to his word, this will only strengthen his determination to succeed at City. Taking the PL down a few pegs will have a nice kick back on Sly, another positive potential outcome
