PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

This is the start of the end game and the process where the whole thing will have disappeared by the end of the season. And we continue as normal in the PL and Champions League.

Liverpool's lawyers know only too well the legal position. Other clubs' lawyers know only too well the legal position. They will share and agree with the same view as our very own legal expert,Stefan ie. the bar is very high if not impossible for the IC to prove the charges.

The clamour about the charges will intensify this weekend and other clubs will follow Liverpool's lead. The media will support them and the pressure for resolution will be intense. There is no way the media will let this go on to the end of the season. It's tarnishing the PL etc, TV rights negotions will be impacted, uncertainty for clubs about CL places etc etc. But,as I said the other day and as surprising as it might sound,Liverpool are on our side with this .

The Premier League will somehow get round whatever the legal implications might be and instruct the IC to stop everything. The culmination will be the vote of the PL members supporting the withdrawal of all charges and Manchester City will be in the clear.

There will be a major PR exercise supporting the clubs position, retaining as much credibility as possible and also most importantly protecting our reputation. Heads will inevitably roll at the Premier League Fuck knows what will happen to Chelsea but they've admitted guilt.

Not a chance in hell this happens.

Does no one think that maybe, just maybe, we did break a few rules?
I think Manchester City FC and Manchester have absolutely leveraged every possible grubby advantage with the links to Abu Dhabi. I think people are welcome to feel morally quesy about how those people have the money they have. And I think the football industry is a grubby, grubby industry with or without us and frankly I don't want to think about how the sausage gets made.

But I also don't think the things people want those emails to imply, and the things UEFA and now the PL are charging us with, are how the businesses involved conduct their business because I don't think it's how they need to conduct business. I think Etihad airways, with a bit of a wink and nudge, would happily sponsor City using their own funds because why not? Why would their CEO risk potential jail time and fraud wiring private funds when he could get a perfectly reasonable sponsorship deal.

Can Manchester City revisit the Crime Liverpool FC was involved in when they were caught Hacking our accounts?
Maybe we can find more evidence than what we first fought happened . Could we make something stick, I bet if we got somebody to look hard enough and revisit the crime we will find something else, Then we could ask the Premier League to investigate or let the Police get involved,

Did we show weakness in settling out-of-court ? because if Liverpool found City snooping around their account all hell would break loose.
Probably not as the clubs seemed to settle.

City don’t tend to do that kind of thing anyway.

If we’re found not guilty, City won’t go after anybody.

Newcastle fan here...

The moment Dan Ashworth spoke on Newcastle loaning players from Saudia - PIF loaning to PIF - the Premier League hold a meeting.

I feel that as soon as we (Newcastle/Saudi) pose a threat, or make a move - for example loaning Ruben Neves - the PL (Americans:Arsenal,ManU,Liverpool) get shit scared.

Ruben Neves to Newcastle is classic media transfer 2+2 - however it would be passible legally.
I don’t see any problem with it.

Especially when it puts those teams top four place under pressure.

The Dippers & Rags apparently want an early resolution to our charges , well you pair of bastards , it has nothing to do with you , not even the Premier league , the "indpendent" panel have thousands and thousands of documents to peruse and its going to take f*cking years , by the time we get a decision we will have a few more trophies in our cabinet , we will be bigger , richer and hopefully playing in a Super League to make any punishment irrelevant and UEFA & the Premier league can f*ck right off.

Is this just pure fucking fantasy? Liverpool on our side, do me a favour.

He (if the leaked documents are accurate) signed the contracts with us and Al Jazira on the same day. The email chains for it and invoices don’t look particularly great either, that’s the one I think will be hardest for us to explain.
10k/hr lawyer will come up with 10 k different reasons, remember how easy it is for fax machine to break down in eleventh hour?
