PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Nobody can say much whilst the process is ongoing. Well, nothing that has any substance as there is no information to base it on.

It seems slightly ironic that you’ve decided to call Burnham out in the Bluemoon forum part of the site, when you’re one of the most vociferous in telling people to make their political rants in the relevant forum.

He could say what you want him to say everyday and we’d still be called cheats. It’s not going away. Ever.

People haven’t stopped talking about us.

How they can prove Everton benefitted and did better with the players they signed compared to them not buying is pure speculation.
By that logic the Rags should have completed the Treble.

Money obsessed the PL and make it up as they go along.

I actually think he’s done us a favour here. Can’t accuse PL of abuse of process in our case until the process is complete.
He’s highlighted another major problem with the whole FFP thing, and gives us another argument we can use if we’re found guilty and punished, and potentially gives us grounds for an appeal if he succeeds. If I remember rightly we can appeal to the courts if we can show that there is a fault with the process itself.
As I see it the charges are dropped otherwise this ends up in the criminal courts accused of fraudulent accounting.
Unless they can made just 1 charge of breaking FFP rules stick, their probably hoping they've set the presedent with Everton so they could deduct the points whenever they choose, like just when we're about to pick up our 4th title on the trot, however it's looking like the PL have abused the process so the Everton case will probably wrangle on, so in the short term they will have to find another way to fuck us over.
By doing so they'll probably tie themselves up in more knots.

My next sentence covers that?

People in England always want to knock whoever is successful off their perch. Labelling us as cheats allows them to cope with their teams being shite.

I understand that but it doesn’t answer that he could challenge the narrative. Martin Samuel has done it.

Everton remains a live case given they have stated an intention to appeal.
The verdict has been reached. It can be discussed without prejudicing the case.

Similar to someone being convicted of murder. The press can now comment on the case, even if their might be an appeal.
