PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

That was the long standing joke but it translates as Union not United.
What is the matter with you lot?
If you knew anything at all about languages you would know that a one word translation from one to another is rarely one word.
Thus Etihad translates as: Unity, union, United, unified, together, togetherness, depending on context.
I make a one line jocular remark and you can’t wait to pile on with total nonsense.
Now translate SET (eng) to French.

Read the original quote in MEN from the official Mcr translator if you want the true source.
Thanks for the offer but no thanks I'll just agree to disagree and stick with the view of James Hogan of Etihad airways:

Speaking at the Manchester City press conference, James Hogan, of Etihad Airways, said the correct translation of Etihad from Arabic was 'Union'.

Everton in all sorts of trouble and yet we'll still be stealing their headlines no doubt

It’s really scary what’s happening to them potentially becoming insolvent in the new year if the Americans looking to buy them withdraw their interest. The Premier League don’t mind punishing them out of existence, but their buddies in the FA still want to use their ground for Euro 28.

I'm not piling on anyone, you are right in that the arabic word Etihad can be translated a number of ways, but the company name translates as Union Airways.

There is already a massively well known airline called United.

They will be looking at another 10 point deduction for breaching FFP based on the 2022/2023 accounts as well, I imagine.

Thank God we have the PL to look after the future of our community clubs.
