PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

So my initial impression, is that those who know their onions on these matters are saying this will drag on far longer than it did to get to CAS, before this is resolved(2 years was taking the piss as it is). They are also, less confident that City will come out of this unscathed. Is that correct? I really can't be bothered with this.

This all reeks of trying to appease the very clubs and owners who got off scot free for instigating the push for the ESL. As well as the influence of suits that were placed on the PL boards, by those very same clubs. Maybe it's time to address that, the PL should be independent of club ties.

No CEO should be crowing that "The league needs a strong United" with a sad face, how ironic is that? One minute they are saying this is a sport, level playing field, fairness that(big joke that). The next they are showing every bit, that they are business first and they look after the interests of 3 particular clubs above all others. That has to change.

Hopefully our legal team gets this thrown in the bin where it belongs. I will say that, as a supporter in the US, City has a sizable following. And its growing. Certainly no excuses for selfies during the game. We were all set to make a pilgrimage to Manchester but pandemic hit and we've been trying to plan to go ever since. Even if we were in the Championship, we would still go. Hell, we would go no matter what.
you will love a visit to moss road or the shay much more than boring old anfield or villa park

embrace our non league posibilities, the prems dull anyway.

So with City's response to this (including high position sources) in mind, is everyone feeling a lit better than this morning? I know I certainly am.
Not me. This has been building for years and it's a very detailed set of accusations. The pre-briefing that has happened is incredibly unprofessional for an organisation like the PL. You can also smell American owner's fingers all over it. I've said for some considerable time that the biggest danger to the PL is American owners. They lost their battle with Newcastle and will be doubling down on this one. There's a lot at stake here.

it is clear PL was advised on this by Pool, United owners, Levy, Kroenke etc.

and we agreed to brush it under the carpet when Liverpool hacked us few years ago. like a quiet background agreement they paid us 1 mill or so.

had it been the other way Liverpool would have asked PL and media to ban us on it.

its because we want to fit in, we want to be liked. instead of that we shouldnt give a shit about the rest and if anything we should stick a kitchen knife in their back when they dont see us.
If the premier league are going back on accusations and incidents from years gone by then i'm confident they will revisit the tramps hacking our database.
Only fair isn't it!

I'd stick a knife in everyone of the hateful 8 - Arsenal, Man Utd, Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea, Leicester, Newcastle (and Burnley when they come back up).

They are also changing the fit and proper persons test, coming to a panel near you soon.

There's always the £3bn a year Championship Invitational League which we could start!

Sunderland
Rangers
Celtic
Birmingham
Bolton
Stoke
Everton
QPR
Derby
Leeds
Forest
Blackburn
Middlesbrough
Sheff Weds
Sheff United
Ipswich
Preston
Bristol City
City
Burnley

Be some fucking mental aways and we could always cap tickets for all at £20.
