So my initial impression, is that those who know their onions on these matters are saying this will drag on far longer than it did to get to CAS, before this is resolved(2 years was taking the piss as it is). They are also, less confident that City will come out of this unscathed. Is that correct? I really can't be bothered with this.
This all reeks of trying to appease the very clubs and owners who got off scot free for instigating the push for the ESL. As well as the influence of suits that were placed on the PL boards, by those very same clubs. Maybe it's time to address that, the PL should be independent of club ties.
No CEO should be crowing that "The league needs a strong United" with a sad face, how ironic is that? One minute they are saying this is a sport, level playing field, fairness that(big joke that). The next they are showing every bit, that they are business first and they look after the interests of 3 particular clubs above all others. That has to change.
