PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

basically this ill informed morons rant is we've got all the money but we cant spend it, woe is us, they're just too myopic to see it is not just the money (although it does help), it is infrastructure, good management, a well run club from top to bottom that is the key.

The only ridiculously priced player we have signed is grealish, apart from that if you look at newcastles team and the money they have spent, it is actually quite comparable to ours, i know that doesnt fit the rhetoric but its the facts.

Shit. Todd Bowlegs took a massive gamble spending nearly a £billion on his squad.

Unless he had massive sponsorships & big player sales lined up, he's put the Chavs at risk of having to sell half the squad he bought to avoid FFP calamity.

I honestly assumed that new owner three year grace period must be in force, judging by their profligate spending. Imagine the mess they'd be in without Palmer?
Those recent signings are all on lengthy contracts to spread the costs for FFP purposes. A loop hole which has now been closed. I’m guessing the Gallagher isn’t one of those and why he is for the chop.

Just as a reminder, our 2010/11 squad which won the FA Cup and set us on the road to glory was, as follows;

Shay Given
Micah Richards
Wayne Bridge
Vincent Kompany
Pablo Zabaleta
James Milner
Shaun Wright-Phillips
Emmanuel Adebayor
Edin Dzeko
Adam Johnson
Stuart Taylor
Alexander Kolorov
Roque Santa Cruz
Jerome Boateng
Gareth Barry
Jolean Lescott
David Silva
Greg Cunningham
Patrick Viera
Joe Hart
Jo
Kolo Toure
Carlos Tevez
Nigel de Jong
Javan Vidal
Dedryck Boyatta
Ben Mee
Yaya Toure
Alex Nimely
Mario Balotelli
Ryan McGivern
Abdisalam Ibrahim
Chris Chantler
Reece Warbara
John Guidetti and
Abdul Razak

The most expensive of those was Edin Dzeko at €37m.
Yaya was €30m and David Silva was a paltry €28.75.

Meanwhile, just for comparative purposes, united's semi final lline-up included such home grown talents as Van der Sar , Rio Ferdinand (€46m), Nemanja Vidic, Michael Carrick (€27.2m) Ji-sung Park, Dimitar Berbatov (€38m) and Oliveira Anderson (€30m).

And, of course, who could forget that the following season we blew everyone out of the water to buy Aguero for €40m when poor old liverpool were forced to make do with Andy Carroll who cost them a mere €41m the same year.

But of course, it's City that inflated transfer fees.

I am now changing my mind about FFP;-)
With our revenue now and our future revenue looking secure after 15 years of the Sheikhs plan for City I really dont think FFP is going to be a problem. So from today I am not going to bang the drum for other clubs that wanted to punish City, the hateful 8/9, they can fight their own battles and as far as I am concerned they can shove their hatred so far up their backside it comes out the other end as, well err, shit.

I can't support FFP even if it sends the red top clubs and the Spanish and German miscreants down the swanny.

It needs removing, and when it has been removed and all teams have the capability in theory to compete it will piss on the "European elites" chips good and proper.
