I knew this lassel fella was a bed bug...I think your belief that the PL case must be credible simply because Lewis is representing them is misguided. Lord Pannick represented Boris Johnson when the whole country knew he was lying. I think most KCs will represent anyone who is willing to pay them, and do the best job possible for them. I don’t think they only take on cases that they think they will win or truly believe in.
So according to this lassel genius Lord Pannick has taken this case on why exactly? To lose to Lewis? Neither is looking to lose so this guy's rationale is nonsensical and for shit, simple as...Absolutely correct.

If a guilty verdict comes in (NOT SAYING IT WILL), most fans of Liverpool, Arsenal etc are saying that stripping of titles etc is an absolute must. That'd be absolutely devastating, wouldn't it? Can't see it myself.
They won't strip any titles.
This is not something that is genuinely in play, it's just fantasy nonsense from rival dickheads who want a bus parade for Steven Gerrard because he fucked up their one genuine shot in his career.
There's no legal precedent, there's too many moving parts for other teams to start claiming reparations.
Other fans want trophies stripping now. I want Shakira. The Stones were right, you really can't always get what you want.

They’re both from the same chambers and Lewis is very well renowned in his own right, it’s not as if it’s a David vs Goliath story.
Lewis has represented the PL several times before including the appeals about our investigation that went to court so that’s all it is. There’s nothing to be read into him taking the case aside from if we’re found not guilty, anyone arguing it’s down to us spending money on the best lawyers is a moron - the PL has access to them too and is using one.

Spurs have made losses since covid, if they hadn’t banked the cash for Kane last summer they would have failed FFP on this years accounts.
