PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I do understand where you’re coming from and it makes the whole situation farcical.

“We’re not saying you’re guilty of armed robbery. But we are accusing you of walking into a bank, pointing a gun at the teller and leaving with a suitcase full of cash”.

You would certainly hope that, even if the PL claim we have merely broken their rules rather than committed fraud, an experienced KC would view the two things as being one and the same and demand a level of evidence appropriate for it.
Perfect analogy, but you're wasting your breath with this particular poster and that lassel F. Lee Bailey...

To confirm, this is your opinion and is not supported by any sort of facts.

The PL would not be finding City guilty of fraud albeit they could/would strongly infer it. Any ruling by the tribunal cannot be appealed outside of the PL environment, unless it is founded upon such completely egregious reasoning as to convince a commercial court to take it on, and even then, a commercial court has already ruled the PL have jurisdiction to hear the case, not them.

TLDR version, unless City put forth such evidence as to show completely incontrovertibly that everything was above board, the IC acknowledges it and openly ignores it, the case will end within the PL environment.

There maybe no external path to appeal PL fines/punishments But a lot of these charges would open the path to criminal charges against Mansour and the board. They would be totally outside of the PL hearings and could lead to lible law suits against the PL etc.

I mean you seem to be embarrassing yourself at a consistent level in this thread because you seemingly can’t comprehend that people can follow Manchester City and also know that the Trumpian conspiracies aren’t actually real.
We don't " follow" city.

We love , support and cherish the blue shirt , the club and everyone that works so hard to make this club what it is.
The best in the world.

"We know we were right," Ceferin said, in his first public comments about the Premier League case. "We wouldn't decide if we didn't think we were right.

"As a trial lawyer for 25 years, I know that, sometimes, you win a case that you are sure you will lose. And, sometimes, you lose a case when you're sure. You just simply have to respect in a serious democracy the decision of the court.
On reflection, I'm starting to see Aspirin's remarks a little differently.

Knowing the British press & considering the Torygraph is fighting against an Abu Dhabi backed takeover, it seems Aspirin's quotes have been rearranged, had leading questions omitted, & journalistic licence added, which gives a wholly different context to the interview.

EG:

Possible Missing Question - "Why did you go ahead with your 2014 tribunal & find City guilty, when shortly after CAS found that most of the alleged breaches of Financial Fair Play regulations were “either not established or time-barred”? Why did CAS arrive at such different conclusions to UEFA on these points?"

Aspirin - "We know we were right. We wouldn't decide (to go ahead) if we didn’t think we were right."

Then Aspirin rounded up with: "You just simply have to respect in a serious democracy the decision of the court."

This suggests he accepted UEFA's appeal loss & accepted the decision of CAS.

Aspirin then goes on to say he doesn't really want to comment on the PL's ongoing case, because he doesn't really know what's going on.

On reflection, this piece seems like bullshit mischief making by the Torygraph, meant to cause further reputational damage to City, in a week where fans & onlookers are starting to seriously question FFP/PSR because of what's happening to Everton & Forest.

More & more people are also questioning why Newcastle (the richest club in the world with zero debt), aren't allowed to bolster their playing staff, & are facing Everton levels of sanctions, unless they flog half their squad.

FFP/PSR is unravelling & the Cartel Clubs aided & abetted by their client media are coming out swinging for dear life, to save themselves & the control they wield over the Premier League.

I wouldn't hold your breath. All the noise smacks of desperation to me.
It'll have absolutely no bearing on the outcome of our case.

The media & lay persons judge from innuendo & sensationalism & as you say it will have no bearing on the judgement. They already know it’s lost, the only battle they are fighting is the court of public opinion.
