PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

We’ve really pissed on everyone’s chips haven’t we!
lol.

Not in my lifetime eh?

City at the epi centre of world football.

The club just won 5 trophy’s.

The club who has Pep as manager.

The club who used to be a laughing stock.

Can’t be my city? City from Maine road?

We will still be here long after the red mud has turned to shit just like their rotten clubs.

City changing football and taking the piss out of everyone else, nevermind taking their champions league money for 13 years! What year is it?

Bluemoon you saw me standing alone is never more true than right now.

On reflection, I'm starting to see Aspirin's remarks a little differently.

Knowing the British press & considering the Torygraph is fighting against an Abu Dhabi backed takeover, it seems Aspirin's quotes have been rearranged, had leading questions omitted, & journalistic licence added, which gives a wholly different context to the interview.

EG:

Possible Missing Question - "Why did you go ahead with your 2014 tribunal & find City guilty, when shortly after CAS found that most of the alleged breaches of Financial Fair Play regulations were “either not established or time-barred”? Why did CAS arrive at such different conclusions to UEFA on these points?"

Aspirin - "We know we were right. We wouldn't decide (to go ahead) if we didn’t think we were right."

Then Aspirin rounded up with: "You just simply have to respect in a serious democracy the decision of the court."

This suggests he accepted UEFA's appeal loss & accepted the decision of CAS.

Aspirin then goes on to say he doesn't really want to comment on the PL's ongoing case, because he doesn't really know what's going on.

On reflection, this piece seems like bullshit mischief making by the Torygraph, meant to cause further reputational damage to City, in a week where fans & onlookers are starting to seriously question FFP/PSR because of what's happening to Everton & Forest.

More & more people are also questioning why Newcastle (the richest club in the world with zero debt), aren't allowed to bolster their playing staff, & are facing Everton levels of sanctions, unless they flog half their squad.

FFP/PSR is unravelling & the Cartel Clubs aided & abetted by their client media are coming out swinging for dear life, to save themselves & the control they wield over the Premier League.

My thoughts exactly

Last throw of the rotten dice. City as always caught in the crossfire.

What will it take for the club to have had enough playing nice and start hanging every one of these gobshite lying cheapskate hack motherfuckers out to dry?

The one and only thing I hate about our club is that we seem like a soft touch.

The shit we constantly get, instigated by the rags, scousers and cockneys and peddled through the media, yet we say and do nothing. How about we attack all of these cunts, find shit on all of them from somewhere and drag it out in the media.

When you have the money and connections that Sheikh Mansour and Khaldoon have there must be people they can pay to find all sorts of interesting ‘evidence’ against the rags and shithouse journalists just waiting to surface …

I reckon Omar Berrada will start spouting shit & calling us all sorts & I reckon at first it will get a lot of copy, the media will lap it up, we’ll stay quiet & win everything & he’ll be sacked within 3 years.

The coverage city get is unreal. If you compare it to the club that murdered 39 or the Italian clubs that actually bribed refs and were demoted and titles stripped to Barcelona and the dodgy ref scenario and their magic levers or Madrid who get bailed out by the government or Munich who may as well be state owned! None of it get any scrutiny on our level. It’s quite a thing to witness. It must be a social media thing.

But hey, no one cares about city! Right? -:)

He would be a fucking idiot to do that, he might but then he better deliver at the swamp , he’d be unemployable after that if all goes tits up there.

If we have so much irrefutable evidence then why are we putting up with this shit ? Our hierarchy seem quite happy for our fans to take the brunt of all this crap , the club can respond without revealing our hand , they need to make a statement regarding UEFA and Cerefin and our disappointment in his comments and request and unequivical apology , we have put up with enough of this garbage its about time our club grew a pair.

He would be sued or may even get jail. You can’t go spouting shit to the media about previous job roles but then again we live in strange times.

I’d only heard of him before because he used to tweet piss take comments about our rivals. No one else from our hierarchy would do that.

It will happen, he’s a Salesman & opportunist & nothing else.

I feel the same but infairness we don’t know what the club are or are not doing. It looks like we are taking it up the backside alright. I do hope we aren’t but it all comes down to trust in the custodian especially khaldoon.

Our lads have a lot of dignity and respect and maybe that is their downfall when it comes to football and the media. Snakes nest.
