PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Had this discussion the other day, showing my age here but when I think of the great football sides (on the pitch) of my youth its Liverpool with Crown Paint on the front of the shirt, them with Sharp over the kits, Everton and NEC (still I do not know what that was / is) Arsenal and JVC and of course Brother over our own (with a nod to Phillips and Saab) - its the same with City and Etihad today. 400 million including the stadium rights at the start for the exposure the Etihad brand got was a steal! The sponsor sticks with you if you see it enough times. School run today in North Lanarkshire and I'm allowing myself a little smile as I spot 1,2 then 3 branded City bags on the ground amongst the Old Firm stuff - same all over the world I'm sure.
That's a great point about the school kids, the future fans, all this bullshit has little effect on them, it's winning and great players that matters .

We simply have to ignore them. Stop giving them oxygen. It doesn't help our fans to engage with these people. Let them spout lies and let them slip deeper into their own echo chamber. It'll make it all the sweeter when judgement day does finally arrive. When you see through the screeching and the false claims that they don't care about City, you see a shallow and insecure body of people who have mentally been destroyed by City these last 12 years. One bloke on X was even honest enough to admit that he is mentally preparing for City to be exonerated because he wouldn't be able to cope otherwise. That is the true effect of real power and influence exercised by the custodians of City. The other half to the beauty behind our success is what it has done to our enemies. Don't give them the satisfaction a narcissist craves. City are Penelope Pitstop, our detractors are Dick Dastardly. City fans need to be Muttley.
Worth a mention actually, the last sentence is hilarious. One for the FOCs.

How the BBC are reporting it.

‘Linked’.

My fucking arse is he linked. He owns Spurs.

UK billionaire Joe Lewis, whose family trust owns Tottenham Hotspur football club, has pleaded guilty to insider trading in a US court.

Lewis, 86, was accused of passing on information about his companies to his private pilots, friends, personal assistants and romantic partners.

Let’s see what Masters and the PL do about this..No doubt they will brush is under the London clubs carpet. Nothing to see here.

Was any of that money used for THFC? To pay off the debt for the new stadium? Etc.
