PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

He actually went as far as to say "I wouldn't wish that on them" when asked if City getting found guilty in the PL case would help United. Not that it really matters at this stage, but it does seem to represent a bit of a shift from our Trafford neighbours.
I think there is a change of direction off the field at the Rags. They realise they have got to focus on their own club and not waste energy trying to undermine City off the field. Ratcliffe is not a fool. I think he knows he won't get any public money but he does seem to have a long-term strategy. Speaking out directly on what he wants to do will boost the share price and that will make it easier for the club to raise money for investment privately. I think any investment will be good for Greater Manchester and the more competition between City and United the better for the North West region.

That's what boils my blood about the red loving media, they go after the dirty Arabs that own us, but (sir) ratty rat face is a wonderful person and that shit stain club is a wonderful, giving grandfather and can do no wrong.

Brexiteer rat face, manufactures an off-road vehicle in Portugal and will be assembled in Bridgend. But no, having campaigned to leave Europe, assembly will now be in France. 2 fingers to those in South Wales.

Grangemouth, long running dispute with the unions over pay and conditions , threatens them with closure, writes down the value of the refinery to zero then demands £500 million from the government because of declining oil sales just after moving his tax affairs to Monaco. Now he plans to turn Grangemouth from refining to finished products.

The guys a fraud, but because of his rag credentials, the media just love him and that shit stain of a club, we are the baddies and need to be got rid off. CNUTS all of them.
Wonder how he gets on with the Old Soak? - Don't tell me Ferguson is a massive hypocrite - I simply won't have it.

Scruffy Jim is playing the room.
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
Desperate to fill his begging bowl with public cash.
I don't trust either of the 2 north west red tops, cheeks of the same arse.
Exactly. Why would you help a rival. Hopefully Khaldoon tells them to get stuffed if they come knocking.

What about the sponsorship money that Liverpool get from Standard Chartered Bank- fined millions for money laundering and banking countries/ businesses that are currently sanctioned. Nobody mentions this?
It was Billions not millions and for laundering on more than one occasion. I would be interested in all the illegal things they have done that they have got away with?

The kindest thing you can say about RATcliffe is that he's a 'hard-headed businessman.'

Fine, but don't pretend to be a 'patriot' when you don't really give a flying fuck about the UK and its people. That's what grinds my gears about guys like this. The problem is the mugs lap up the top dressing and ignore the multiple layers of shite underneath.

Exactly.

A couple of weeks back I posted about the commencement of the 'media softening up process' that Sir Scruffbag had laid on the table to appease the Red Filth Horde.

I said then that I'd had 70 years of despising that lot across town (I took it in with my Mother's milk, don't you know!) but I thought they couldn't make me despise them any more..

..until this tax-dodging, Brexit-funding, no-mark twunt Sir Scruffbag came out with this 'National Stadium of the North' claptrap. Just for even thinking this idea 'might be a runner' the self-entitled tosspot has made me despise that club even more, to the tune of all my 70 years of despising it, times a factor of 100.

Goodness me, I hate that grifting club..

We should contact the programme makers and ask for them to do an expose on the Premier League. Here is the link. I feel inclined to test their metal on this one.

I'm saving this one for when we're cleared of all charges...

Dear BBC Panorama Team,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to you with a story suggestion that I believe warrants serious consideration for investigation by your esteemed program. As an avid follower of football and a concerned citizen, I urge the BBC Panorama team to explore the phenomenon of media bias and propaganda surrounding Manchester City Football Club and its impact on the wider footballing community.

In recent years, there has been growing evidence of a concerted effort by certain media outlets, particularly those associated with rival clubs such as Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Tottenham, to discredit Manchester City Football Club through a relentless campaign of negative press and misinformation. This campaign, which I refer to as a "sportswashing media witch hunt," has had far-reaching implications for the club, its supporters, and the integrity of the sport itself.

The narrative propagated by these outlets portrays Manchester City as cheats and frauds, with the aim of influencing Premier League organizations and football fans across the country. This concerted effort, spearheaded by a cartel of clubs seeking to maintain their dominance, has created a toxic atmosphere of hostility and mistrust within the footballing community.

What is particularly troubling is the apparent collusion between certain media figures, ex-footballers, and representatives of rival clubs to perpetuate this narrative. Presenters and commentators affiliated with these clubs have utilized their platforms to disseminate biased views and unfounded allegations against Manchester City, further fuelling the campaign of misinformation.

Furthermore, there are concerns regarding the potential influence of former executives of rival clubs in key positions within the Premier League, which may have led to decisions and policies that unfairly target Manchester City. The implementation of Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations, for example, has raised serious questions about the integrity and fairness of the governing bodies entrusted with upholding the principles of the game.

I believe that a thorough investigation by the BBC Panorama team could shed light on these allegations and uncover any instances of media manipulation, institutional bias, or conflicts of interest within the footballing establishment. It is essential that the truth be exposed and that justice prevails, not only for the sake of Manchester City Football Club but for the integrity of football as a whole.

Thank you for considering this story suggestion. I am confident that the BBC Panorama team will approach this investigation with the professionalism and integrity that it deserves.

Yours sincerely,
