PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Maguire really needs to be more careful with words which, for a guy who writes books and appears in the media all the time, is a pretty big problem.
While this is true, he will have prefaced the 'sentence' with 'if they are found to have breached...'. Unfortunately, the headline writers miss that off, hence we get the tat from F365 hooking the red shirts into believing that our demise is imminent, when that has not been said.

:) Nooooo ...... You don't want to believe anything I say. I am one of those who have contributed by asking questions. If I have been able to summarise the answers into some sort of coherent position that is entirely due to the people providing the answers. You know who they are.

On the other hand, if I have summarised in a way that is incorrect, that is down to those cunts answering my questions wrongly. Not my fault :)
Starting to sound more and more like a lawyer.

I always keep an eye out for your posts. You do yourself a disservice on this thread good sir -:)

True. But I was referencing the quote that a large points deduction will lead to relegation "to the lower levels of the EFL".

Yes, it doesn't make sense.

The deduction of enough points can clearly cause us to be relegated from the Premier League, but at the start of next season - in the Championship - we would start on zero points along with everyone else. The Premier League doesn't have any power to deduct points from clubs in the Championship, only the EFL can do that, so how could we end up in the "lower levels" of the EFL?... I guess if our current form continues that answers that question!

Quality site about 20 years ago, now purely clickbait. Ignore.

When it first started, didn't you have to download a reader app to see it, which they updated every day. Also wasn't Danny Kelly (NME, Radio 5, friend of Danny Baker) involved in it at some stage...

I dont remember that, but I probably started reading it early 2000s, it could have been running a few years before that so quite possible.

Feels like nowadays practically their whole 'mediawatch' section could be filled up by their own articles.

If Danny Kelly was involved it would have been wall-to-wall Spurs.

I liked this bit from Maguire:

"We’ll probably be looking at somewhere in the region of 60 to 100 points, which would effectively guarantee relegation out of the Premier League and into the lower tiers of football in the EFL.”

Make that make sense.

As for sanction at Easter, bollocks. Even fucking Wyness understands it better.
Shows you how much bollox he's talking to generate clicks. It's been mentioned many times but a penalty of an 100 points deduction would only relegate us out of the EPL.
