PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

This is how I think it will play out. Just like the other case with both sides claiming victory.

I don't think it will be a clear cut decision.

If APT is anything to go by the PL will claim victory whatever the result.

Moving to pursue other interests more like
Another option for Masters may be an Exec role with his Qatari pals at BEIN Sports. He has been pivoting his career towards the broadcast world in the last 12 months with his role as Chair of the World Sports Leagues Association where he works alongside Javier Tebas on the Exec Board. He has fingers in a lot of pies.

It does look like tv writes for PL coverage are going to change , bones being thrown to prime video the past few seasons ? Sky hardly get a sniff these days for the champions league as an example , yes they have to distribute , but it’s going to change , just maybe we won’t get force fed the sky chuckle brothers as much in the coming seasons ahead !

His latest being premier league studios

I think Masters will be forced out by the Pl Board under pressure from his former pals at Fenway Group, Spurs, Arsenal and MUFC.
There is more to Masters than all this , what about the other BOD’s at the PL like Alison Brittain , it’s not just him , he’s the fall guy , it’s not entirely him.

You’d think wouldn’t you , that all the talk would be about Liverpools impending PL win ? I mean City sit 5th , how are we a threat this season - or probably next ? Any talk about the Geordies ownership model ? Or is it plucky hamstrung Newcastle win against all the odds ? They’ve spent plenty by the way because of their owners - hardly a surprise is it ?

Yet another article in the mUen about punishment for City if found guilty.
It would be interesting to find out if any article has EVER been produced about the damage to the PL when we are found NOT guilty.

That clip is a year old, at least.

The PL board have obviously encouraged this, it’s their role to guide & advise the CEO against risks. I believe the only risks they saw was the cartel upping & going. I wonder if Alison Brittain was desperately trying to build bridges when she handed over the premier league trophy & writing letters complimenting the club.

if found guilty of fraud by prem(coz that's what there saying)we will have to wait for criminal case against the owners and accounting firms to start and conclude surely

As someone with no knowledge on the developments

.. I’m hedging my bets till I hear what the Magic Hat has to say about the situation….

He won’t resign , he will just move sideways , he’s already of recent become a director of Premier League Studios back end of November last year , his exit , if need be is already advanced , nothing unusual in being a director of multiple companies by the way , but not a cat in hells chance he will resign - why would he ? It’s the tyrany of the minority isn’t it ?

IF he's still in his current position in May I wonder if he'll turn up to present the trophy?

Fucking shithouse.

I realise you are joking, of course, but is my fervent, if highly improbable, hope that football will get itself sorted so all these "financial" experts who are fighting for visibility will fuck off for good. One thing I will say, though, is that even if I want them all gone as soon as possible our very own @slbsn is light years ahead of any of the others and is in a different universe to people like the Magic Twat.

Individuals falsely accused of corporate fraud and subsequently proven innocent, may have recourse for damages through legal avenues, including seeking compensation for reputational harm and other losses.

1. Malicious Prosecution:
  • If the company was subjected to a criminal prosecution for fraud that was ultimately dropped or resulted in an acquittal, they may have a claim for malicious prosecution.
  • To succeed in a malicious prosecution claim, the company would need to prove that:
    • The prosecution was initiated maliciously (with an improper motive).
    • There was a lack of reasonable and probable cause for the prosecution.
    • The prosecution was terminated in a way that indicated the company's innocence.
    • The company suffered damages as a result of the prosecution.
  • Damages in a malicious prosecution claim could include compensation for legal fees, lost profits, and reputational damage.

2. Defamation/Libel and Slander:
  • If the accusations of fraud were made publicly and were false and defamatory, the company could sue for defamation (libel if written, slander if spoken).
  • To succeed in a defamation claim, the company would need to prove that:
    • The statement was false.
    • The statement was defamatory (i.e., it damaged the company's reputation).
    • The statement was published (communicated to a third party).
    • The company suffered damages as a result of the defamation.
  • Damages in a defamation claim could include compensation for financial losses, lost business opportunities, and emotional distress.

After two years of this shit I hope too see the Premier League torn up and started again with no red cartel in charge.
