PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Go on big Steve ......

Your hurt ya a Man Utd fan and upset because City slap you up every week

Make it into banner

Shouldn't be left up to City fans to defend the club in public.

The club just allows lie's to perpetuate for some reason.

The club need to reach out to be people like Neville behind the scenes to educate them on what the charges are, why our revenue is so high, etc.

Also, anyone expecting the club to retaliate or do any retribution after the decision has been made will be disappointed.

That mindset is a product of the reputational damage that the PL and media have inflicted upon City. No logic of 'innocent until proven guilty' has been applied to our situation, to many the official outcome is now irrelevant.

Obviously I sincerely hope we're cleared, but I also hope the response from City is significant in terms of compensation sought for the damage done to the reputation of the club.

There are no grounds for legal action or compensation by City.

The league will just say they are following procedure.

Carrragher and Neville should have been pulled up

Carragher is saying its impossible for City to higher commercial revenues then Real Madrid...OK
Steve pulls Neville on Salford ...Neville claims they have no related sponsors but have the highest commercial revenue in league 2 despite having one of the lowest league attendences in league 2
How is that possible??? if its not possible for City how is it possible for Salford?

PL prize money and TV rights dwarf La Liga's (why Tebas the Francoist hates us) Add to that we are outstripping them in the U.S now and there's really no surprise after 5 leagues , and C.L finals and semis, not to mention umpteen other trophies. Our prize money has been off the scale in recent years which inevitably leads to increased sponsorship income
La Liga gets a lot of it's revenue from South America. That market has very little clout in terms of overall revenue compared to U.S/UK/Europe. For example here in Thailand you can get a season TV pass for your team for a tenner. These types of global TV deals are a drop in the ocean.
Carragher either doesn't want to understand or has no comprehension of this dynamic. R.M may have significantly higher fan bases but the markets in which they are strong are not as competitive in terms of overall value

Bloke on Facebook (Young Goves) Darren Hill says Monday 17th June we will know the result of the 115 charges,he also says he was the first to announce when Pep was to become our manager and also Peps contract extension.Could be bullshit who knows.

I know. It's bullshit.

Firstly, because he knows nothing other than, maybe, the date of a hearing like others have been talking about recently.

Secondly, because even if he knows the date of a hearing, he knows nothing about how long the deliberations will be, or the time taken to document them. These people don't schedule a date and work towards it, it will take as long as it takes.

Thirdly, if he gets info from a contact at City about Guardiola, nobody at City will know how long those things will take either, even if the hearings have already taken place which, afaik, they haven't yet.

On the other hand, a quick decision is in our favour, so I will believe it :D

I watched a good part of that. Gave up as no disrespect to whoever the guy is fighting our corner from the pile on, I wish it had been somebody more articulate doing so.

What is pretty poor about this tv show though is, it's hosted by two of Sky's main commentators on our games. Their bias here, (not that it's ever really been in doubt) is clear to see. Anybody here, and I've seen many over recent years who claim Neville is a 'decent' pundit are simply blind.

Fcuk the pair of them.
It's impossible to argue a good case on such a complicated topic in that environment and the producers know that. They don't want intelligent debate, if they did they would have better informed peesenters and a less intimidating format, they just want sound bites. Jerry Springer? Exactly what they want. It's just Talkskyte. Avoid it.

The subject matter in relation to City isn’t that complicated, not at least in terms of the current status of the charges. Ask anyone to particularise the charges, and what we’ve specifically been accused of doing, and they cannot.

From that point it’s a fairly straightforward argument, even for a dilettante such as myself…
