PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I've had a quick listen back to the City section. Don't think I'd say anything different. Not really sure what Gorton's issue is - most likely stylistic (tough) or a lack of understanding (try to read more on the topic).
Here is the City section (along with grimace):

I have just listened to @projectriver and I don’t understand the arguments today against him.

Jordan stated that the premier league can’t compete in the legal department. Stefan laboured the point that the league in fact have spent a lot of money and hire some of the best KC’ in the business. So point debunked.

Secondly, Jordan stated we are state owned again. He knows this is not true and has been told time and time again but refusing to acknowledge facts.

Thirdly, He must have got wind through his buddies levy and Parry that they league has tried to settle and City by all accounts have told them to fuck off. We have done nothing wrong and now the case is fucked, the league come cap n hand looking to protect the brand!

I do actually think we will settle before the case finishes at the tribunal. It makes business sense and once emotions are taken out of it, the money men will decide how this case finishes up.

Finally, You can see Jordan is livid the club are in such a comfortable position. We have the option to settle and we have the option to keep this going for a long time. It riled him and many others up. Little upstarts city eh?

Nothing really of any note apart from the tail ie City appears to be now wagging the dog(league).

I don't agree. Rags, dippers, arsenal fans all happy for clubs at the bottom of the table to get some sympathy, but only because they're not challenging for anything. Ex players and fans of the old top 4 make up 90% of the pundits and journalists putting out football content and they wouldn't want to change public opinion on us.
Not a single one (Unless I missed them) of the journo's with credibility have said City may be innocent and ran with that story. Even the likes of Winter (I am disgusted he was on the City treble video) wont ever say that unpopular thing. Fuck truth.

What would a settlement look like though. Would it be accepting that we were guilty of non-cooperation? I can’t see how we would settle for any other reason.
