I’ll be totally honest, is Wirtz a fanatic footballer or no better than Havertz?! I can’t see I’ve ever seen more than 4 or 5 more games that he’s played in, and those were for Germany.

And like Havertz, he has never stood out for me. Likewise Havertz when he was gotten talked up from Germany.

I may be wrong, but take Musiala for example, he stood out. Wirtz didn’t.

I might be wrong, but Wirtz doesn’t look anything special to me.

Yamal for me is potentially another Messi. Wirtz is a good player who will make the dippers better but by how much remains to be seen. Personally I don't think he will be as influential as VVD or Salah have proved.
