PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

They've done an ACL piece today mentioning several players who have suffered them recently. Wonder which high profile player they've not mentioned!
They mention Maddison and Colwill who both have just suffered their ACL injuries and two other players Mings and Buendia who were mentioned because their injuries saw them out for the season of 5heir injury but also their recovery stretched into the following season
You may have a point on some matters but on this one the four mentioned were illustrating two aspects neither, of which did Rodri’s injury or the other 9 PL players who suffered similar injuries in 24/25 season match.

They are probably frustrated but are playing another game to the fans. Villa are aligned with the Red Top Empire , through their American co owner, so are unlikely to want to rock that boat .
While I agree with most of your comments, and I may come over like a closet Villa fan, I have to take exception to the above comment.
American co owner or not, Villa have consistently gone against the interests and coercions of the cartel, voting against EUFA and PL FFP and siding with City on several occasions.
They've shown no interest in the cartel machinations and always gone with their own agenda.

Fair point . Maybe they are currently keeping their powder dry then .

Haha, exactly the opposite, sadly.

Too many of our players refusing to move on and run down their deals.

The same ones who all wanted rises and extensions after the Treble, as Txiki hinted towards.

Say what you want about Walker, and I've said plenty, but he chose playing before cash.

We dozed on the job.
Stones, Akanji, Gundo, and even Bernardo are the culprits. But why would they ??

Is that Gundo who we brought back, last season, with a guarantee of an extra year, depending on the number of games he played?
Is that Bernado, who’s asked to leave almost every year for the last 5 and been told he can’t?
Is that Akanji, who signed a 5 year contract when he signed in 2022, and whose contract will expire in 2027?
Is that John Stones, who’s asked to signed a 5 year contract extension in 2021, which will expire next year?

Culprits seems like a poor take.

The Bernardo myth again.
