PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I find it unfathomable. What our defence is crying out for is a physically imposing & rapid player. If only we had one.. Oh no my mistake, we have khusanov who ticks those boxes.. Best not play him then eh..

Wrong fucking thread again ..........................read the fucking thread title ffs

What is it with posters ??

Don’t think there will ever be a decision.. it will quietly slip away when everybody has forgotten about it

I mean, if city fans are bored shitless by it imagine how the rest of the football world feels
The rest of football fans/supporters are in the main just brainless sheep who believe the shit they have been fed and will simply trot the same old nonsense.

And with US owners of the majority of the PL clubs, they will continue to follow the cartel directive, whether City are cleared or not.

The criticism is here to stay regardless of the outcome.

I think there are City fans on here who cannot see beyond the end of their own noses. FFP and PSR were intended to entrench a self styled clique of clubs at the very top of the football pyramid. Newcastle voted for the regulations: Villa did not. But regardless of this the regulations did not work to the benefit of either club, or any of the others who voted for them, unless they were members of that group of "big clubs" who had dominated the game and its "revenue streams" until 2009. City, like many others were to be part of the out crowd, unable to use our owners wealth. When the club made use of the owners business brains and contacts to grow revenue to unprecedented levels this had to be branded as the use of illegal practices and accounting. We know who was responsible for this and it wasn't Newcastle or Villa or any other "small" club: it was a cartel of clubs bent on the destruction of our club. So, let us see the enemy clearly and stop hoping that Villa and Newcastle for example are ruined for some perceived past sin and work towards the destruction of the PL and its cartel puppet masters, so that a sensible, fair set of financial regulations can be put in place. Thank god those who run our club are above petty jealousies and have a clear focus on wht truly benefits our club.
There's the rub though, all of the clubs who voted for those rules knew exactly what they were for but were happy to try and keep us at their level. It gave them the excuse to not spend more money than they wished to and to just make up the numbers in the PL as any promoted club are immediately at a disadvantage, so more likely to go back down. The lack of ambition is disheartening.

I agree. Pannick is the Rico Lewis of the legal world. Not physical enough and doesn't have a football brain.

The clubs who voted for the rules were mainly US owned who have driven the attack on the club.

Others who voted with the cartel were stupid, blind or promised something which would never be delivered. Masters and the PL ( including prominent Sky members ) were used to carry on this assault, driven by greed, jealousy, and fear of the growth and success of City.

Well they're not stupid or blind so...

I think they all get a kick out of towing the "cheating bastards" all while paying no mind to Masters and co running the Prem into the ground.

I agree with you, they and their ilk deserve everything they get, every problem that's coming down the track to stifle their hopes.

I posted the following a week or so back on the 'Media' thread:

"They were told. The Red Cartel, the clubs, the fans, the media, all with their partial, tribal view of the world.. they were told what it was about, what would happen.

But not one of the stupid f**kers (with the odd media exception.. here's to you Martin Samuel!) had the cojones to ask what I've always called throughout my time in management, the 'Sergeant Wilson Question'; as in 'Do you think that's wise, Captain Mainwaring..?'

They were told but they wouldn't listen and they pressed on regardless. And all the while, we voted or abstained against all the PL measures that they now claim are 'protecting' us at the head of the table.

Stupid, tribal f**kers.. F**k 'em.."

It's been like those ultimate lines from Don Maclean's (incredibly beautiful!) song 'Vincent'.. 'They would not listen,/ They're not listening still/ Perhaps they never will..?'
Could be a good baiting chant in there somewhere using the line ‘We told you so’ to rub it in…

PSR has fucked your club
You sold your soul
You’re blaming us
You’ve got to sell, your time is up
We told you so
You’re thick as fuck

At least they were offered something whereas a city dominance gave them nothing.
They seem happy to take crumbs from the table without having to spend seriously to compete for top places.
