PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Seriously @Mods can we sideline this Magic Hat bollocks? Its gone down a rabbit hole and those people should be there not here.

I know what you are getting at, but this is a great thread for learning about the human psyche. There could be a thesis in it for a budding psychology graduate.

I enjoy how it twists and turns but I suppose I have too much time to waste. Must be infuriating as hell for anyone trying to catch up every few days :)

I just asked AI if prick Harris and magic hat are the same person.
Based on the context provided, it is revealed that Nick Harris is the person behind the pseudonym “Magic Hat.” This conclusion is drawn from various pieces of evidence, including shared vocabulary and common use of uncommon words, similar time stamps in their chats, and Harris’s admission that he was at Wembley on the same day as Magic Hat’s alleged presence there. There is no indication that Harris has done anything illegal or unethical under this alias, but rather, he has used it to express criticisms of Manchester City Football Club. The motivation behind using a pseudonym appears to be an attempt to maintain anonymity while voicing strong opinions.

Classic sleuthing. Well done.

A bit worrying for an aspiring blackmailer if the police subject his messages to AI.

I learn about human psyche from Twitter. I come here for clear info on progress on the charges. I dont want to read pointless posts about how amateur sleuths have broken down the pysche of Harris or magic hat, again and again and again. It WAS entertaining.

Ask if it knows who smashed his windows in?

Question, BDO LLP audit City’s accounts. If they believe that City had knowingly misled them for well over a decade would they continue to audit the accounts and work with City as a client 5 years after the Der Spiegal articles were produced, were charged by Uefa and then exonerated by CAS and then for well over a year since the 115 charges were laid out by the Premier League?

No.

They would have made a determination very quickly on all the issues if only to make sure their arses were covered. If they had been deliberately misled to the extent that the accounts didn't give a true and fair view, they would have resigned. So I am assuming they were happy with their opinions.

No.

They would have demanded assurances that the allegations were not valid. Those assurances would have included the provision of third party information from the likes of Etihad.

If they weren't satisfied they would have resigned.

This for me is the key and often overlooked point.
