PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

If it was officially announced that we were cleared of all charges wouldn’t it be just ace if we hired out every single interactive advertising display in town and showed this on all of em?
What a fantastic idea.
No explanations, no comment, just done.

If only the powers that be read bluemoon.

Your insights and opinions have, in general, over the months helped us all understand things with a more informed view,
and i realise you get bombarded with endless questions,
but can you explain exactly why you keep insisting and stating you believe the release of the decision can, and as such will likely, be agreed in advance by both parties and what, if any, previous examples of something like our situation give you such conviction, given that there has been nothing at all on this scale previously, and why you persist in assuming it will be during an international break when there seems to be no precedent to qualify your presumption?
(not having a pop at you)
Thanks.

I’m not insisting anything. In fact, I’ve stated it’s a guess. My best guess. It’s based on a few conversations and a feeling some level of agreed planning makes sense for both parties if, as I assume, the draft decision has been close to finalisation for a few weeks. There is no precedent but there has been no case like this in the history of English football. As for international break, it is a natural window for such news. If it’s not ready, then it’s not ready but if it could be timed like that it makes sense. There was a recent Supreme Court case on car finance where they waited until Friday after market close to release to assist listed parties. Similar to that in some ways and this is easier as it’s a private disciplinary process and not in the courts.

Just to be clear I DO NOT KNOW WHEN IT WILL BE RELEASED

Sorry, but something is really wrong here. No way this takes this long especially if how some of our experts say, it may look like a lot of charges but many of them are rolled into one.

There’s something else happening in the background, and why it’s so quiet.

Thanks.

I understand, ultimately, that you always state you do not know when it will be released, that is your constant fallback,
but, and correct me if i am wrong here, nobody else on this thread other than you has suggested that the likelihood is the news will drop during an international break, or at least it was you that first came up with the idea and others have followed.

A fairly significant amount of people, quite a lot in fact, have followed your lead on this matter and taken it up as a strong possibility, until it has almost pretty much become the accepted reality by many, that an international break is most likely when it will happen, yet your only evidence to support the suggestion that it makes sense is a car finance case which has absolutely no similarities to our situation whatsoever.

You are considered by many as a respected poster, have a strong background and undoubtedly are more knowledgeable than many of us on here, but i'm still struggling to understand how you are consistently saying (and yes i know you always caveat it by saying it's only guesswork) that you have a feeling it will be during an international break when there is nothing at all factual to back up your claim other than you think it is a natural window for such news.

Unless i am missing something, you seem to be doing quite a lot of assuming without having anything genuine to back it with.

(once again, i'm not having a pop at you, i'm just seeking clarity)

Have you got any idea when it will be released, mate?

Yes I’ll have to work much harder to prove my bona fides. Deary me

For balance, I also asked this question:

"What are the chances that @halfcenturyup, a poster on the Manchester City fan forum, is right that the Premier League don't have a snowball's chance in hell of proving the most serious allegations in their 115 case against Man City?

ChatGPT said:

Short answer: the word on the street is that @halfcenturyup is a ****."
