So what have we learned today?

It is all just quite vanilla - there has been a long hearing and we all await the decision. Nothing more.

And,

It is simply taking longer than expected for reasons that are unknown.

I hate international breaks.

Just wonder if even the time related "the expected" is known.
Are there any comparisons or has the kitchen sink approach by the PL made the normal legal process unmanageable?

I think you might not be far off the mark there,wouldn’t go as far as saying they are culpable as such,but has pressure been applied to hold up the releasing of the outcome,for a damage limitation exercise to go on behind the scenes,but without City’s knowledge..

The panel most likely (perhaps 100%, I can't recall who was in the pool) consists of three Kings Counsels, the government certainly aren't getting involved and can you really see Masters trying to strong arm 3 KC's? It's nonsense, end of.

Never say never I agree on masters but maybe other influential individuals have called in favours sounds absurd but you just don’t know what goes on behind closed doors..

Just a thought, given how long this is going on.
What happens if one of the panel passes away before this is concluded?
Obviously I don't wish anyone dead.
I suppose it depends on what is causing the delay, if it's just wording I assume they can carry on but if they are still deliberating and the panel is reduced to two members it would be possible to not have a verdict. If that's the case do we reset and have 12 weeks of evidence again followed by the same huge deliberation?

I think it's pretty clear everyone thought it would have been finished by now. Including, we are reliably informed, the parties' senior lawyers. I have no reason to doubt that.

I am more interested in what these "unknown reasons" may be. I doubt it's health related. I am sure all these super smart lawyers have been able to work out who the three panel members are after more than a year now, and so a health issue would be obvious. Personally, I can't imagine any particularly complicated legal issues here, but I may be wrong, of course.

It would be an interesting discussion but it's late and I am tired. The only thing that may keep me awake is a discussion on corned beef. Would be better than the last twenty pages of this nonsense :)

Why don’t them cram internationals in either at the start or the end of the season for however long they need - 8 weeks or whatever the season is broken up with this nonsense and get them out of the way ?!?

It’s a toss up which is more boring 115 or international break ?
