PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Well yes.
But Etihad are NOT a Related party to City by IFFS IAS24.
The PL declaring it to be so Basically targets MCFC. And restricting sponsorship based on country or a perceived connection stinks.
Let's start with PL American Owner Connections to Amercan Companies that sponsor PL companies. Lets start with Under Armour from the US who have a relationship with other Fenway Sports brands.
All should be accessed under the same fair value rules. End of.
Didn't Adidas or Nike question how New Balance's Liverpool kit deal was incredibly high and there was no way they could match it... and that FSG had links to somebody on NB's board?

Yeah that was what I was referring to. I got the name wrong - but I keep well away from looking at Liverpool shite.

Well NB's headquarters is in Boston; home of FSG. Wouldn't be surprised if there was a link there...

It's amazing how football prospered for 130 years without financial regulation giving up multiple different winners!
come on please keep up football has got evolve with the times you cant live in past rules need implementing then improving as loop holes found

i get it now lol

I'm all for our fanbase calling out blatant nonsense, but using words like 'idiot' isn't doing us any favours.

Also the twitter user is quoting the CAS panel saying "we're presuming these are fair value" and pretending that's proof of the contracts being fair value. It's not.

His post is as misleading as anything Panja might put out.

But but but.....the out of town imposters didn’t have more money than wigan or nick their best player......or did they.

In life,in sport,in business and among nations some have always had more wealth than others.

Those who manage their wealth through shrewd investments and good management tend to succeed in their own sphere....including football.

Burnley’s 1st division winning team cost less than the rags paid for one player, Denis Law.
