PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

What year did them Geordie cunts eat all the chips? We must have at least made a good profit that year

Like most cases I would anticipate that there are a few high level accusations, supported by a substantial number of low level ones in order to help frame the idea that if we're making minor breaches we must be making more substantial ones. City seemed to take FFP very seriously, we tried to comply, they changed the rules and we ultimately couldn't meet the requirements. So we took our punishment without challenge and only started fighting and ignoring UEFA when they went off media allegations and we knew there was an agenda.

I'm sure most clubs have made some minor breaches over time. It's the major ones we just have to hope we're innocent of and there's been a misunderstanding. Either way, we're guilty. Just like with UEFA, if we win it's because our lawyers were better and not because of our innocence. The difficulty here is that 99% of fans loved the Aguero moment, and how many of them will be happy to see that wiped from the records? I hope beyond hope it doesn't come to that. A points deduction and a transfer ban, fine. I'd be angry at the club but I'd take it. Anything more and, well, that would be very hard to take. 35 years without a major trophy, we finally have our dreams come true...if that's wiped from the records it would be beyond horrific.

You don’t have the faintest fucking clue what money laundering is.

I do wish people would stop posting shite about things they don’t understand.

Look up money laundering.

What in these charges relates to the “process of illegally concealing the origin of money, obtained from illicit activities such as drug trafficking, corruption, embezzlement or gambling, by converting it into a legitimate source.”

Haven’t the Rags been money laundering in Delaware and the Cayman Islands?
