PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

My guess would be they expect to uncover collusion by other clubs and the PL and demonstrate complicity in having charges brought against City…..doesn’t have any bearing on the 115 other than to prove what City have been saying all along about organised and deliberate actions
Maybe they're having trouble finding anything wrong and are wondering why the hell they have this case before them.

Probably but we are certainly causing a stir with the IC message requests from 09.

Nothing is ever hidden, we only need to show collusion between the clubs and the league.

it’s a positive step for city and in the face of daily onslaught a most welcome one at that.

We are finally seeing some resistance from the club to the constant attacks to stop our march to greatness. It won’t kill 115 but it might show that collusion did exist between interested parties to stifle City and that the 3rd party rules were also only brought in to discriminate against gulf owners at the behest of our American friends.

City ain’t messing about with this associated party case and certainly not about defending ourselves against the 115. Our confidence must be coming from very strong evidence.
Have city requested this or has the panel requested it (independently of City)? as @projectriver has suggested as part of standard procedure. If they have asked for all comms referencing Manchester City dating back to 2009 from both parties (PL side and City side) then they may just get swamped with material from City that may take a little while to process :-)

My long term optimist up the fucking blues thoughts is that it will relate to both. Initially the ATP amendment where we'll prove they're inventing rules with the sole fucking reason of stopping us, they're not lawful, and they're certainly not in good faith.

We'll be proved innocent in the 115 regardless of all of this (because we're genuinely innocent), so all we're left with is how the PL and some particular clubs will deal with being shown up for trying to stitch us up.

Not sure, but think that's where my heart's going.

6 fuckin minutes these positive thoughts lasted before Stefan tells us it's all normal procedure and no big deal. Fuck sake man give us half an hour, enough of your good faith shite =)

Agreed.

If City allege over these next few weeks that there has been communication to conspire & damage them which is denied & then it’s revealed in the 115 hearing where would that leave us.
Maybe we will finally get that gold premier league trophy -:)

I know both cases have to play out but due to the high stakes a settlement of some sort must be on the cards. If City have the proof required and the league has nothing but emails then I can’t comprehend the level of incompetence on show. Absolutely crazy.

Innuendo is not enough in a case that has gripped the country and driven the red teams feverishly delirious.

City seem to be coming out swinging now. The league is certainly on shaky ground. Let’s hope those messages once uncovered set the scene of hate that we are witnessing against city on the rampant unfiltered socials.

Everything’s normal procedure, that’s the law but surely not every case asks for 15 years of communication. So there’s normal that it’s perfectly reasonable & normal where it happens all the time. I don’t think it’s the latter.

Seems to be part of the procedure. You never know what is uncovered during a data dump of this size. City have been made to look guilty of disguised owner funding by a handful of emails. Let’s see how bad we can make the league look with hopefully thousands of messages showing why they constantly made up rules to snare the club and who was behind it.

At the very least we should be able to show tyranny of the majority -:)

Arsenal headed paper anyone? Calling Soriano a terrorist and “bad day for football” is a good starting point. Oh and Wenger with his financial doping nonsense.

The focus on attacks seemed to be coming mainly from the rags and dips but just maybe Arsenal and spurs are the main protagonists.

Of course it’s standard but without question one of the red cartel has made a request, made comments about us in a discriminatory way and had a response from someone!

It isn't illegal for another club to lobby the PL, asking what is happening with the investigation, etc. It's a dick move, but not illegal.

It's possible but I doubt that any evidence of collusion and corruption will be found.

Just as there is no evidence of fraud in our own emails.

The plot doth thicken!
