PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

As a fan of another team, I find this very interesting. But what strikes me after reading a lot of this thread is that there's a lot of blame-game going on here. I've read a lot of blame towards other clubs, the FA and PL, but very few, if any, are talking about the real case and the substance in the accusations. If there's done something wrong, which the enquiry will find out, surely there has to be consequences?
Yup it’s called defamation .

What do you expect when we’ve already beaten similar bullshit charges from UEFA?

Clear & organised

Thanks for that now fuck off

Anything City can do to stop such an event from happening?

Seems all very 'in house' for the panel to be impartial and independent.

Can City kick off about it and get it moved to the courts?

I think you should have reasonable faith in the 3 man panel. They are going to be very serious career lawyers and judges who have bigger concerns than their own football fandom and know their work is likely going to be reviewed by one of the highest courts in the land and have a lot of public scrutiny.

It's similar to the CAS panel, not UEFA's kangaroo hearing.

I thought id come of the majority of social media as the hypocrisy was driving me crackers. At the end of the day, i get it football is tribal and opposition fans love to stick the boot in, but my o my there are some mentally stagnant runts out there. Anyways - i highly recommend this action to fellow blues - i feel liberated, less tetchy and, according to MrS Gringo, bearable. High praise indeed .

Let’s be honest, if this was the rags or dippers, we would all be going for the jugular too. Well I would at least. You might be nicer than me.

Indeed, I for one want the death penalty for people who don't pay their council tax.

Whatever infringments, if any, at this moment in time nobody knows anything other than the PL have made accusations, but the punishment must befit the 'crime', and for other PL clubs to show their lack of class by immediately stating they'd want to see City relegated shows they have no interest in whether City have or have not been found to have broken rules, but are opportunists.

Its something i'd expect from rival supporters, not established professionals of supposedly well run football clubs. Sometimes the best thing is to say that they place their trust in the independent commission and have no further comment at this time. Any club that has made such a statement about wanting City relegated when they don't know any facts surrounding the allegation, will have immediately lost any respect I had for them.

Ask yourself why the PL are so against independent scrutiny of the league as a WHOLE.

There are so many buried skeletons it would make Southern Cemetery look like a vegetable plot in comparison.

Really would like Khaldoon to do a message to the fans. Doesn’t need to give anything away, just reassurance that we’re in the clear. For what it’s worth, I 100% think we will be exonerated but will always be tarnished with the inference we have cheated. So no change there, it’s been that way since the last failed attempt at sullying our name.
Give it a week and it’ll be yesterdays news, just getting raised every now and then by one of the so called journos whose whole career hangs on a thread that we may have done some wrong.
Then we’ll be cleared.
But until that time, siege mentality, loud and proud and I guess every premier league handshake will now get the same treatment as Champions league.
Booooooooooo
CTID we were here before the money and we’ll be here a long time after.
