The only high profile former City player and supposed fan is Micah Richards and he's Sky's court jester.
Also the case that City don't litigate against this stuff. I hope that changes if the decision from the hearings is on our side.

Flip it the other way. Collective action against the Premier League and associated media? Loss of reputation and so on.If in the unlikely event that we are found to be guilty as charged could we as paying fans be considered as victims of fraud?

We don't need cheerleaders, we need objective, pragmatic and authorative football/sports broadcast 'journalists' .

Nedum would be a certainty, but he's too bright for them, and would most likely just get frustrated with having to sit in the same conversations as Sturridge, Micah and the rest of the banter crew.
Case in point against Arsenal; Merson, Walcott, Micah and Keane in the Sky studio, for arguably the biggest game of the season so far.
They know Micah doesn't represent City, so they've effectively got 2 Arsenal, a nodding dog, and Keane who just hates everyone.
Considering we've won, 4 titles in a row, and 6 of the last 7; you'd like to think they'd want some City representation to talk through how good we are, and what a joy it is to watch us every week.

Now multiply that by a thousand where the media is concerned, facts and opinion do not matter to these people, they will believe what they want to believe to suit their agenda and any pushback would be wasted energy, if you want this in microchasm look at sunday arsenal fans were outraged by how much time was added on even tho it was factually clear and proven that they wasted way more time than was actually added on but the facts dont suit their agenda and what they need to believe so they remain outraged.

Think about it. There are very wealthy clubs who are being seriously harmed by our success. Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and United. If you want you could throw in Spurs too and maybe the new upstarts Villa and Newcastle. So we have all these fuckers against us and we've seen how much influence they wield in the media as they have already won the propaganda war. That's how it's unfair from OUR perspective and shows just what we're up against.
