PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Apologies if posted - It looks like Lord Pannick is lining up new work. This extract from an article on the BBC website in relation to VAT being applied to private school fees from January:

In a board meeting on Thursday, the Independent Schools Council (ISC), the body which includes most independent schools in the UK, voted to pave the way for legal action.

Lord David Pannick KC, one of the country’s leading barristers in cases relating to government decisions, is to lead the challenge which will be brought on behalf of parents, including those with children with special educational needs and disabilities

A cap as a % of revenues, or an anchor?

I don't see how either of those do anything to improve competition, honestly.
Anchor is nonsense. Straight cap, it depends on the level. If if reins in the big boys reasonably, but does not inhibit the next tranche, it gives the next tranche a chance to catch up.

This is what I've been stating since I took a step back, & adopted a global overview stance...

"In short, the old days of deference to the 'specificity of sport' appear to be numbered. As a result, fans are likely to continue to see their favourite clubs fighting their battles in the courts, as well as on the football pitch."

Game, set & fuckin match! Football is a business sector & should be treated in law, the same as any other industry...

FFP, PSR & APT are as ridiculous as the Australian PMC rules!
