PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

They’ll want us gone before the club World Cup so they can replace us with one of their red darlings. The thought of us playing in that with the world wide exposure we’ll get scared the piss out of em!

I don't think the cartel minded too much when we started winning trophies because they didn't ever envisage a time when we might overtake them in terms of worldwide exposure. When it became apparent that we were well on our way to overtaking them not just in terms of trophies but also the size of the club they realised they had to try and do something about it.

Unfortunately how very true j.

“Five clubs applied for compensation when Everton were sanctioned for breaching Profitability and Sustainability Rules last season — Leeds United, Leicester City, Nottingham Forest, Burnley and Southampton — but those claims have since been withdrawn or are still unresolved.”

So no one who has applied for compensation has been successful….
Westham ended up paying £20 million to Sheffield Utd following action bought by Sheffield Utd so he’s at least one club has achieved compensation

I know we've bemoaned the utterly biased media coverage of this case as they never write articles along the lines of "What if City are cleared?" but a mate sent me an article from The Athletic recently about possible punishments if we're found guilty of some or all charges (I know!). For once though, it had a different angle insofar that according to some so-called "experts", the chances of retrospective punishments applied to previous seasons were actually quite low because the knock-on effects on so many clubs would be never-ending. In other words, even if we were found guilty on everything then any points deductions would likely be forward-facing rather than backward-facing. By extension, the stripping of titles, etc, simply wouldn't happen. If you think about the Everton case, for example, their points deduction wasn't applied to the previous season. If it had, then it would've meant they'd been relegated and because pretty much a whole season of football had been played since then the complications of backdating a points deduction in such circumstances would be off the scale. There are a few exceptions to this, the most notable being the Calciopoli scandal where, amongst other things, Juventus were relegated and AC Milan were deducted 30 points from the recently completed 2005-06 season. Juve were also stripped of their 2004-05 Serie 'A' title but interestingly it wasn't assigned to any other club.

I think from the above that we can safely deduce that whatever the outcome, that wumming **** Mourinho isn't getting his hands on the 2017-18 Premier League trophy, and the Scouse twats down the East Lancs will still be stuck on 1 PL title!

Whilst I’m confident we will win the case, the outcome of losing the major charges could be endless and is uncomfortable to even contemplate.

West Ham paid Sheff Utd £20 due to 2 players 3rd party owned playing a few games and Sheff U being relegated.

The clubs that have missed Champ League qualification IF we are found guilty will argue they have missed tens of millions - multiplied by 10 seasons. And that’s before you look at those that have missed 1 place etc.

Trying not think about it and hope that like we all expect City win the case cause if we lose it will be chaos.
