PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Only because we have presented UK GOV. with a brown envelope containing a cheque big enough to write off a large portion of the National debt.....
When we are cleared, I guarantee several journos will hint that it was fixed for us by Starmer’s trip to AbuDhabi and Dubai. All the magic hat brigade will just openly say this.

Yes our "client journalists" seem to have kept a low profile over the last 10 years when we have been vilified in one of the most hateful smear campaigns sport has ever seen. I can honestly only recall a handful of articles defending City over the allegations in the last decade and they were from Martin Samuel, one of the most respected sports jourrnalists in the UK.
samuel is one ,but i cant think of anyone else who has fought our corner, its been a relentless pile on .

OK, so nobody else seems to be interested in this, so I checked again.

The handbook on the PL website is definitely the July version without the changes made in November to make the rules "lawful". So the new amended version, which was posted last week, has been removed.

Of course, this could just be a mistake by PL (likely I suppose): either posting the amended version in error last week, or removing the link to the amended version in error this week.

Or, it could mean the FA haven't approved the amended rules yet, which would already be unusual.

Or, and bear with me, the tribunal has agreed with City that the APT rules as a whole are unlawful and so the amended rules had to be taken down. The consequences of that would be total victory for City in the APT case and total chaos for the PL.

Let's wait and see what happens.
As you say, wait and see.
Perhaps the PL should have done that instead of taking a vote on a potentially still illegal modified version.
