PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

It raises an interesting question. He was initially COO for Manchester City when I was on City Matters. Danny Wilson was, and still is, Managing Director of Operations for City. Then Omar moved to COO for CFG Football Operations. He was replaced by Roel de Vries, but de Vries is COO of CFG. Soriano is CEO of CFG.It

City are around 80% of CFG, based on revenue. In terms of global brand recognition we're probably 90%. Yet we don't have anyone more senior than Danny who is wholly responsible for managing City's off-field business. No club specific CEO or even COO. That level of management comes from CFG.

NYCFC has a CEO and i bet the other clubs in the CFG structure also have a club-focused CEO. But the club that makes up 80% of CFG doesn't. I simply don't understand this and wonder how much of a part this might play in our seemingly poor recruitment planning and strategy.

I've also expressed my concerns about the composition of the City (and CFG) boards, which contain no executive or independent directors. People say we're a well run club but I have my doubts.
I was always a little confused about Omar's title of COO. The normal industry job title of COO normally includes leading and running all the day to day operations of a company - that means IT, HR, Operations, Property, Security - so in City's case anything that involves ticketing, match day, groundsmen, canteen staff, call centres etc etc etc.
Thats not what Omar did though, he seemed to be more involved with sponsorship and the financial side. Danny Wilson, position seems to be far closer to being a COO. It does feel strange though, the lack of club specific executive..

With respect, the very notion that a man of Khaldoon’s international standing would take on the role of City Media Officer for the day just to appease some fans, is frankly absurd.
With respect, how many vulnerable City fans need to suffer mentally (and possibly consider suicide) before people realise just how tortuous this has been?
Anything is better than nothing, and word could easily have been passed down to the media officer (if that person even exists anymore).
However, not one person within the club has fought our corner.

Pep has tbf, repeatedly, and he’s the most influential figurehead at the club.

Pep has come out fighting time and time again. The club has issued a statement and been steadfast in their approach that we are innocent.

I do agree with you regarding the mental suffering. We would be lying if we didn’t admit that it has affected all of us in one way or another.

Gotta try to silence the constant diarrhoea from our sporting advisories and media.

If they played a fair game I could take it but they don’t.

What difference does it make? It doesn’t matter who tries to defend City in front of the press, we’re guilty in most people’s eyes and that won’t change until the verdict is out.

Dear me, they need to grow some bollocks then.

Whatever the result turns out to be, "tortuous" LOL, that's what that father and step mother did to a little girl.
