PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Ok, thanks. So if we won that one at CAS, there's nothing stopping us winning that one again. I'm actually more concerned about the substance of all the other charges

No we didn't comply and agreed to pay a settlement. That would have been that as far as the PL was concerned if it wasn't for the leaked emails.

There's a need to remain calm.

We all know there's a political whirlwind around these charges, be it other clubs, regulators the lot.

Have they just charged in volume, hoping one sticks and they look tough? A bit like UEFA with the two year ban, hoping CAS would only take a year off?

Every half-wit with an internet connection, including the usual journalists will be out grandstanding, spelling out our demise.

Patiently waiting a breakdown of the charges in full from ProjectRiver and experts.

If this goes on for years and through the courts it will be financially damaging for the PL. Plus if we do have stuff on other clubs going to get very messy for them. High stakes for both them and us. I bet they turn the microphones off on Sunday.

Sorry was asking about another post.

Yes. Apprarently abiding by UEFA FFP is one of the Premeir League's rules. We've been charged for not doing that in 2013-2018, and charged for not complying with the investigation from 2018-2023.

In respect of each of Seasons 2013/14 to 2017/18 inclusive, the Premier League Rules applicable in those Seasons requiring a member club to comply with UEFA’s regulations, including UEFA’s Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations, namely:
(a) for Season 2013/14, Premier League Rule B.14.6; and
(b) for Seasons 2014/15 to 2017/18 inclusive, Premier League Rule B.15.6.

Then that would be a complete stitch up. Trumped up charges where we had evidence of an investigation being leaked & went to CAS.
