PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Can anyone remember if when the news came out that UEFA had banned us whether that galvanised us or had a negative effect on the pitch? Wondering what to expect now as the reaction from inside the club- is it another excuse to continue this poor form or could it be motivation? The champions league becomes v. Important this year if we get deducted points or relegated we won’t be seeing Europe for a few years probably.

No this is from the files we had to give to the premier with pressure of the history clubs! It went to the courts so they can make us give them our files!

2 emails were presented in der Spiegel in a way that sort of made it look like one if you squinted, but CAS ruled it didn't have any effect on the meaning or reading of them.

Everyone talking about the UEFA case as proof that the club will defeat these charges needs to read the report or Stefan Borson's analysis, because UEFA were convinced that if the club had lost on the time-barring issue we would have lost at CAS, and there's no time limit for the PL.

This won’t be heard for a while. Hearing to be held in private which does nothing for transparency. Titles won’t be retrospectively stripped and any points deductions will apply in the season currently being played - so next season likely. Need to win CL next season to ensure we’re in it for season after!

I think this is a warning shot for Newcastle and Chelsea, no doubt because the dippers and rags have been moaning.

If we accept that these latest allegations are part of a wider witch hunt, why would Chelsea get a free pass?
 
I mean, if indeed, the PL have been working on this for the last 4 years there must be some form of substance...they are coming after us big time aren't they

On a serious note, what a surprise,

It was the Red Shirts cartels last chance to get at City, so the PL has no option but to do their dirty work for them.
 
It actually feels like if you tell the world and his dog you dodge taxes via the Caymans, and run up billions of debt, as well as writing off billions then spending another, it’s ok because you told everyone, the world is fucked
