The answer to hit them with is Tesla. If history and ‘number of fans’ are the be all and end all, why is Tesla worth $578 Billion compared to the history boys of Ford ($52Billion) and General Motors ($57Billion)?
I'm not interested in responding to them! I've seen some right nonsense this morning. Someone saying we're being used by the Saudi's to money launder is a personal favourite. I nearly started a response but there's no point!

Important not to forget the PL investigation started 4 years agoTH to ask an obvious question why does this keep happening to us?

It's really draining
They are, in effect, claiming City deceived the PL, their auditors and multiple other bodies and filed fake accounts and fake financial forecasts. For at least 9 years. That's the extraordinary allegation.
If the PL has evidene of such stuff wouldn't it be investigated by HMRC and other government agencies instead?

I think you work in finance and accounting Colin? Do you know how long BDO have been our auditors and is it of any surprise that we don’t use one of the “Big 4” as our auditors? Which of course used to be a “Big 5” with Arthur Andersen (pre Emron)?
BDO are a large reputable accounting firm of long standing.

Timing is all down to that white paper and external pressures from American Owners of certain clubs up for sale.
That or they have been waiting for us to hit a rocky patch of form on the pitch and its taken 4 years for them to have the chance haha

Why haven't the police and HMRC been involved if what we've been accused of is fraud and a crime?
Why aren't our premises being searched and computers confiscated?
You know what, the more i think of what we're being accused of the more i think it's absolute nonsense that our owners would fiddle and hide monies and risk their livelihood.
It doesn't add up. They are professional businessmen who are high flyers and high rollers.
Not a cat in hells chance we're guilty of anything.
